After a month…..!
It had been a month since Hannah last saw Liam. She was super busy with work, which kept her mind off the pain. But no matter how busy she was, she couldn’t stop thinking about Liam. She had heard from Silly weeks ago that he was on a business trip.
One afternoon, Hannah was going through some files when her manager, Rosie, wearing big glasses, approached her. “Hannah, I checked your documents and they are incomplete. HR needs your identification certificate again,” Rosie said, handing her a letter.
Hannah nodded and put the letter in her bag. She returned to her work but soon heard her name again. “Hannah Johnson.”
She looked up and saw a man she vaguely recognized. “Yes, I’m Hannah,” she replied, with confusion on her face.
