Author’s point of view
“Here”, Mia handed a cup of coffee to Hannah. They both were sitting in Hannah's room at Mia's apartment. It had been a day since Hannah came back from the hospital.
Hannah took the cup with a grateful smile, though her hands trembled slightly. “Thanks, Mia,” she said softly, wrapping her fingers around the warm cup.
Mia sat down beside her, watching her friend closely. “How are you feeling now?”
Hannah sighed, staring into her coffee. “I’m okay, just tired. It feels strange to be back here after everything that happened.”
Mia nodded, understanding the weight of her words. “I can imagine. But you’re safe now, and that’s what matters.”
Hannah looked up at her friend, a faint smile on her lips. “Yeah, thanks to you.”
Mia smiled at her best friend and took a sip
