Mia was intently looking into her phone, so engrossed in reading something that she didn't notice Hannah approaching. Hannah called out to her, but she didn't respond.
"Mia!" Hannah said a bit louder.
Startled, her phone slipped from her hands. She quickly picked it up and looked at her best friend.
"Hey, Hannah! Sorry, I didn't hear you," Mia said, looking a bit flustered.
Hannh gave her a glare and sat in front of her. "I’ve been calling you for a few minutes now. You were so lost in your phone. By the way, what was so interesting there?" she asked.
Mia quickly locked her phone and put it away. "Oh, nothing important. Just some work stuff," she said, avoiding Hannah's eyes.
Hannah raised an eyebrow but didn't push further. "Okay, if you say so. Let's get go
