I woke up for the first time in years excited for the day. I didn't even care that most of my tasks were clerical. I was excited about potentially meeting Allue and Damien. I wanted them to be safe and surely being out there on their own, without protection, living in the wild like an animal couldn't be ideal.
After getting dressed in my usual leather pants, boots, and shirt, I made my way down to our healers quarters. Despite my reputation, I did care for the wolves under my care.
