19. Waking up

Mark I feel so comfortable that I'm not sure what is going on. There is a warm presence next to me, but it is a small one, so not one of the women. I open my eyes and see a cat in bed with me. First, I wonder if one of the animals escaped its cage and found its way into my room, then, I remember that we were attacked and the animals were freed. We were attacked, by shifters. I look at the cat again, memories of one just like it, attacking Trevor just as he was about to kill me, or at least harm me. Is it the same cat?  Almost without noticing, I start petting it, and it purrs. The cat opens its eyes and stretches, arching its back, then it shifts into a beautiful woman. My hand is still touching her, and I'm feeling myself blush, something I never expected. I have slept next to dozens of
