2 - Avia

2 - Avia’s POV            I don’t understand why Emerson decided to date Molly instead of waiting until he gets his fated mate. Nobody in our pack dates or has any relationship since we believe in getting our mates at 18. All of our senses awaken when we turn 18 and we can find our mate. There are times when some don’t find their mates and take a chosen mate. However, this doesn’t happen often and when it does, they are older and have to be approved by the Alpha. This normally happens when werewolves hit their late thirty’s and early forties. Let me give you a little bit of information.            Our high school has both human and werewolf students. Humans don’t know about our world, so we have to be careful not to be exposed. If we expose our world, it’s a protentional death sentence. What makes it easier is we can’t morph into our wolves until we turn 18, but we still have heightened strength, hearing, and advanced healing. Unlike what most people hear from stories, our wolf is not a separate soul, just us. We are specially made in the form of our Moon Goddess. After turning into our wolf, we still have full control of our bodies. Nobody or anything else does. However, to maximize our wolf abilities, we have to mate with our fated mate. They make us the strongest we can be because they are the other half of our soul.  When we turn 18, we have to move into the pack-house to start our training. This is also where all the single unmated wolves live on the first two levels. The third level is the office level. The fourth level is the Delta and Beta family’s apartments. The top, fifth level is the Alpha’s family floor. The Delta, Beta, and Alpha’s family stay in the pack house. When everyone else finds their mates, they are moved into apartment buildings. If there are children, they are given a home in the parklands. I will be turning 18 next week on Saturday. It’s also the last week of school. Thank Goddess, the last day is Friday. I will have to move into the pack house. I guess it will not be that different from living at home. I will have to start training at 4am. Then training again from 5pm till 7pm. I can’t help worrying about my brother being left behind with our mother. Maybe I should talk to the Alpha. I just finished the household chores. Bedtime, I’ll figure the rest out tomorrow.
