8 - Emerson POV:
It has been four weeks since we’ve been at camp. I am actually loving it. I don’t have a cell phone attached to me, no leash on me. Of course, River and Drake have their own cell phones. The day after we got here, my mom called Drake. When he gave me his phone, I was first yelled at for forgetting my phone, wished a happy birthday, then she actually cried about getting old herself. I, of course, consoled her, told her I loved her and hung up. Her pregnancy hormones are crazy scary. Other than that, no one else has bothered me from home. Alpha camp is stressful and hard as it is, but I am loving it. The leadership styles and knowledge I am learning with my boys are impressive.
