Chapter 3

In the guys case they stay clear away from me, they have seen me with Austin and he is pretty intimidating and scary. One time a jock was hitting on me and Austin attacked the poor guy. he ended up in the hospital. Austin didn't mean to hit so hard he is just use to hitting vampires and it takes a lot of strength to make them feel enough pain to hurt them.

When the bell rang for the end of school I felt over joyed. I rushed to the car park only to see Austin's car and then I lost all hope he is going to kill me. I didn't even leave a note explaining anything to him and then there is the whole detention thing. I can remember the last time I had detention he did everything,but ripped my head off.

Can this day get any better? I got home in record time as soon as I drove in I saw Austin waiting for me and I strongly considered turning around, but what good would that do he would be able to find me since he can sense the whereabouts of every angel. If he has to come and get me he'll be furious. I stopped in front of the house not wanting to get out of the car, but my door was opened for me, so I got out with heavy dragging feet. I looked up at Austin giving him a fake smile and a big bear hug. He just stood there not moving in my arms so I let them drop to my sides. He started pointing to the car and I prepared myself for his speech, instead I was pulled up against his hard chest. He kissed my head.

"You could have asked you know I would have said yes. You look so down babe, let's go inside and get some food in you so you can tell me what has that pretty face of yours looking so distressed." He took my hand in his pulling me up the stairs to the front door.

"There was a attack, 5 humans were killed so your sisters are out looking for the monster ,they are going to bring him back here. If you give me a smile you can be the one to interrogate him." I smiled as fast as I could. He was going to pay for every drop of blood he spilled.

"So let's talk about your day now. How was school love?" My face dropped immediately.

"I'd rather get hit by a car than repeat this day." I sighed. Overreacting like I always do.

"That bad." I just nodded.

"I can't even think where to start, but I have a idea where I really should start." He was already looking annoyed he knew when I was going to tell him bad news.

"Do I really want to know?" He basically growled.

"I don't want to tell you, but I need to so here goes. I have 3 hours detention tomorrow after school." He was angry and he really looks hot when he is angry, but also terrifying and murderous. He hardly ever gets this angry at me, but we kind of have been having trouble with the vampires they were rebelling and doing it in a careless way so we needed to be out hunting more than usual and I can't help while being in detention.

"You have what? Again! Alex you can't keep getting into trouble, think of the people you could have saved in those 3 hours wasted in a room staring at a wall." He grunted rubbing his hand over his face.

"I'm really sorry! I overslept and then I had to make breakfast. My car keys were M.I.A too. All that caused me to be late for class and this teacher really dislikes me it's not entirely my fault... I'm really sorry." I finished out of breath. I was looking up at him through my lashes.

"How can I stay angry at you when it breaks my heart seeing you so worked up, come her babe." He said grabbing my wrist and bringing me closer to him.

"Just don't let it happen again okay." He kissed my forehead. I looked up at him still in his arms, I always felt save when we were like this. I raised my arms and placed them around his neck.

"I really am sorry." I went on my toes and kissed him. He held me tighter and deepened the kiss. Things started to get to hot so I pulled away I always did it, I don't know why, but it just doesn't feel right maybe I'm just not ready.

"So what's for lunch?"
