The Cursed Alpha and the Witch

Chapter 4

“Blue wake up” Gamma Donald said shaking her a bit,

“What’s wrong” she asked with her eyes slightly opened yawning deeply,

“Don’t you want to escape, now is the time” he said with a bit of a smile on his face.

“Where is Alpha Cane” she asked jolting up, he wouldn’t dare to let her leave him like that,

“He is fighting the rogues who came to attack us, why are you asking so much questions instead of hastening to get out” he groaned angrily by her slow motions, he thought that she would be excited to leave.

Blue picked up a coat to help her with the cold, and changed the colour of her hair to red with her magic, she looked at her baby bump through the mirror, for three months now, her magic had hid the pregnancy from everyone including Alpha Cane, no one knew about her pregnancy except the pack doctor.

She had abstained herself from his touch though he could notice a few changes in her behaviour, he couldn’t quite figure out why.

Gamma Donald snuck her out of the castle avoiding the guards and straight into the woods.

“Are you okay” he asked once they got to the perimeter, she was a bit shaky from the cold but she nodded her head in response.

“You should go back” she said, she couldn’t bear to have him follow her on her journey, it would deteriorate her plans.

“Nonsense, I am coming with you” he objected.

Taking Blue out of Alpha Cane’s grasp wasn’t easy but he managed to pull it off, now he wouldn’t let his mate out of his sight.

He would follow her to the depth of the earth, but first he had to make sure that no one noticed that he helped her get away.

“Wait for me by the Oaks mountain, I will be with you in three hours” he said and sprinted back to the pack.

Blue sighed in relief after his disappearance, she felt better and could do whatever she wanted, she touched her baby bump and smiled, she could fill immeasurable power much more than she had ever had, because of the powers of her child of which he or she was a hybrid.

Only the most powerful of witches were given the ability to drain a person of their power or even willing merge with theirs to not cause the host harm, in her case, she merged her powers with that of her child.

Standing all alone in the woods, she stretched her hand and her eyes turned white, her body was slowly fading, she made sure that she stood in the exact spot that Cali had sent her when he banished her. Countering his spell, Blue ended up back in the witches coven.

“Payback time” she echoed.

Back at the Greyshade pack, Alpha Cane’s big black wolf Odin took out three rogues at a row, a few rogues were left and a big number of his warriors were still alive, Gamma Donald joined the battle in his wolf form,

“Where have you been?” Alpha Cane roared through the mind-link,

“Making sure that the women and children are safe” he replied, Odin jumped in the air and clawed deep into the rogue who attempted to attack Gamma Donald from the back.

“Don’t you dare disappear like that again” Odin left him to fight other rogues, with his height and big stature, he was able to fight two at a time, at most three.

Soon all the rogues were killed leaving behind a few casualties, Odin let out a convincing roar of victory.

“Burn them” he ordered, heading back to his chambers, the castle was big enough for a wolf to walk through, he noticed that her scent wasn’t as strong as it used to be.

Opening the door and he found the room empty, “Where is she” he yelled.

“Alpha what is wrong” Beta Luke asked feeling his distress,

“Blue is missing” he replied in a wavering tone, how did she escape, he thought.

When he left her, she was sleeping soundly which had frequently become a habit of hers, how then was she able to escape without anyone noticing.

He followed her scent till he went into the woods and then it stopped,

‘Did she mask her scent’ he thought completely lost, little did he know that that was exactly where she disappeared.

“Fetch me Donald” he ordered.

“Where is blue” he asked Gamma Donald who was standing before him, his eyes carried a dark vibe ready to kill whoever helped her escape even if it was his brother. He had slowly gotten used to her and fallen in love with her and now she was gone.

“Is she missing?” Donald asked trying to act smart with him, he was immediately grabbed by the neck, Alpha Cane squeezed his neck so hard that he was gasping for air.

“Your scent still lingers in my chambers, which means that you helped her escape”

Gamma Donald was striken in awe, he had masked his scent on the way out but forgot to do so on the way in.

“Alpha, I can explain” his hands helplessly lying weak beside him, he was no match for his brother even in his human form.

“She asked me to take her to the clinic which I did, before I knew it she was gone”

“Pray that I find her or else you won’t like the consequences” Alpha Cane threw him harshly to the ground.

At the Middle East, Cali had his meeting with the Dark Lords.

“Its been months since you banished Blue from this coven, don’t you think that that was a rash action. Her mother was the leader of this coven and a powerful sorcerer, we might need her too” Benita, one of the dark Lords spoke out.

“We don’t need a naive little girl telling us what to do, she is not like her mother who is a pure breed” Cali spat in a harsh tone.

How dare they try to bring back old discussions, Blue was a lost cause to him, he didn’t care if she died.

“And I couldn’t care less if you all died” Blue barged in, she had heard everything they said even to the tiniest of details.

“How dare you come back here after being banished” Cali held his breath for a second in shock.

“You have no right to command me, if I remember correctly, I am higher than you.

So I am here to take back what is mine”

“Over my dead body” Cali reverted ready to attack,

“I guess you want it the hard …”

Before she could finish speaking a fire ball was thrown at her and she crashed to the wall,

“Just as I thought, weak and pathetic for a witch and to think that you want to be the leader, the highest Lord” Cali sneered walking closer to finish his job.

In his hands was an ice dagger, he grabbed her hand and stabbed it,

Blue screamed in pain, he held her still with his magic and froze her legs.

She closed her eyes in agony, her powers began merging with that of her baby, soon a blue flame melted the ice around her feet and she smiled at him.

“My turn”

Branches sprung from the ground and whipped Cali from the back causing a deep cut to his skin, he was surprised by her attack. His fingertips breath fire and he ran to her, clawing her shoulders he smirked but was stunned by her cold laughter, the fire spread to his hands burning his clothes yet it had no effect in her.

She threw him up and he fell down with a loud thump,

“I am not weak” she echoed and the ground shook,

“I am much stronger than you”

With the powers of her child, she was much stronger than Cali and used that to her advantage.

Her eyes lit up in rage for the death of her mother, “You will pay for hurting my Mom”. She swirled him in the air, then smashed his body against the wall.

Cali stood up helplessness trying to regain his composure but he wasn’t quick enough, he was already struck with lightening, he became vulnerable and his magic was failing him, she had drained him of his strength and will to fight.

“Blue, you have already proved your point why don’t you stop before you kill Cali” Benita interrupted her and she shifted her gaze from Cali to her, he took that opportunity and disappeared through a portal.

“Come back you coward” Blue yelled noticing that he had fled. What stupid high lord would run away from a fight.

She turned towards the witches and smiled, “Now bow before your Queen”.
