Hearing his voice made me snap back to reality. I had no idea that I was standing this close to Miss Rose. When I was talking to her, something had snapped over me, making me walk over her.
I wouldn’t say I do know what it was but it had taken entire control of my body. “What are you doing here?” I gritted.
Now, Miss Rose had shifted far away from me, with an unreadable expression on her face. Was she also shocked? Just like me? “No, that shouldn’t be what you should be asking.”
