Battle Against Sphinx

Prologue

She will kill us. She has a knife. I know we did a mistake, a terrible one. We regret it now. A lot, we should have never done that. We were kids, we didn’t know what was right and wrong. But we should have spoken first.

She was coming with the knife, straight towards me. I went a few steps back and she came forward. The others were behind me. I had to protect them. I will protect them.

“You guys shouldn’t have done that. It was the biggest mistake of your lives and now you won’t even live to regret it” an evil smirk forming on her face. “We said we are sorry. I know we shouldn’t have done that. We should have spoken to him at least. But why do you have to do the same thing to us?” Zara asked amidst her sobs.

“No darling, the mistake has been done and you guys have been taken for granted and were allowed to live for so long is a great thing. I can never get a better chance to take my revenge” she said and plunged forwards.
