“What’s got you so happy this morning, you and Avery make up last night?” Fan shot Gideon one of his goofy grins as the elevator took the Cobras back to the warhold.
“Made out is more like it,” snickered Kristy, giving him a friendly dig in the ribs. “I like Avery, she seems nice on comms. Maybe I should take her out one night, seeing as, technically speaking, we work together. I could show her my rocket launchers.” Kristy wiggled her chest at Gideon, giving him her best attempt at a cheeky wink.
