Even though I wasn't the quitter I had to let Eric's topic go. I couldn't get anything out of Nim and I hated it. Why did I ever ask her to keep me in the dark?! Stupid, stupid me.
Eric must have taken Nim's advice pretty seriously. He stopped lurking in the dark corridors to look at Eagle. Actually, it seemed like he was avoiding her. He even talked to the Headmaster about signing off of our joined classes so that she could be with everyone else. The principal was reluctant as Eric is an Alpha to be, but when it was brought to him that the cause was a Mate's quarrel he even helped arrange individual lessons for him.
