His Unwanted Human Mate

Chapter-4

Jason's POV:

I changed back to my human form. Arthur is still going wild in my head, even after a run.

"What is it, Arthur?" I ask being Irritated. He being like this is bothering me.

"I don't know Jason. I am feeling excited for some reason" he replied.

"Could you please be chill?" I ask him.

I wanted to spend some time with mum and I know where exactly I can find her. I made my way to the lake. I saw her back facing me and her head looking up at the sky. I sigh I know whom she is thinking of.

Jason. Yeah, the Jason who I got named after. Her friend and he loved her. Mom met him for the first time in this place on the blue moon day, years ago. She misses him at times and mostly on the blue moon day.

She says it's her favorite space. It's the place where she used to spend most of her teen days, a place she used to spend with my grandfather, a place where she met Jason.

"Mom found ya, "I say.

She turns her head to look at me. "Come, Baby," she extended her hand and I took it.

I smiled and made myself comfortable in her warmth.

"The moon looks beautiful, isn't she?"Mom asked.

"Yeah, Even more, prettier from up there" I pointed my hand to a mountain peak.

"How was the run?" she asked.

"It was great but I don't know why mom, Arthur is not feeling ok. He is excited for some reason and being wild" I say.

"Maybe you are about to find your mate" she replied with a happy smile.

"Mom, not again, " I say.

"Ok, why don't you take him to run or talk to him and ask what is bothering him?" mom suggested.

"Will do that" I replied.

"Where are the twins?" she asked.

"Maybe sleeping already at their place" I shrug.

"Ok, it's getting late. Will go back to the house. Be there soon, will wait for you" she said and left the place.

I sat there looking at the moon, trying to feel peace but Arthur is more like, building a storm inside me and I can't concentrate on being calm.

I think I should go for one long run now.

"Buddy set for a run?" I ask Arthur.

"I am feeling so hot in here, just let me out," he said. I ran towards the deeper woods and jumped into the air, my bones adjusted themself and my claws came out of my fingers. I felt the airbrush through my fur as I ran with speed.

"Where you want to go?" he asked.

"Where ever you feel like Arthur" I replied and we sprinted forward.

Ashi's POV:

I sat silently in the car and my uncle is going through his phone. After a couple of minutes, he called some person.

"Yeah, I am going to be there soon. Let the SUV in" he said to that person and hung up the call.

"We Will be there soon" he flashed a smile.

There is a weird feeling settled in my gut and I am feeling anxious. Is this the right decision? I just left my everything there and came here to a new place. But isn't this too late to regret now? I saw out of the windows and found the moon.

How naive once we used to be, I always imagined that the moon is following me and somehow it made me feel safe. I smile to myself.

There are no more buildings on my site. All I see is the vast land spread across. We passed through the city. We are moving into the woods. I gulp in fear.

Is he trying to kidnap me? Or selling me to some gangster, for a second I thought of how to save my life but maybe I am just overthinking? He is my uncle after all. He won't be doing anything like that to me, Would he?

Soon the car came to halt and I peeped through the window to see where we came. It's like some border, there are people over here and I see lights at some distance. The car moved inside. After a couple of minutes, it got stopped.

"You can get down now" came my uncle's voice. But for some weird reason, I feel him tense. I got down to see a big house, like a very big mansion kind of house but seems like built with wood. I turn around and a few houses are scattered over the place and even they are built with wooden.

Strange, I thought. Uncle came to my side with our luggage. I put on my backpack and looked at him.

"Let's get in," he said.

"Is this your place?" I ask.

"No, but we need to be here for a few minutes" he replied and I gave him a slight nod.

With hesitant steps and trying to calm my heart I stepped in. A sweet aroma hit my nostrils and that made me hungry. The place looks empty. I look at the wall clock, the time is almost 2:30 Am. I think everyone is sleeping but why did uncle bring me here? I thought to myself.

A beautiful petite woman walked down the stairs her eyes fixed on me and a man, who is huge and followed behind. They both look contrast in their personalities.

"What is it Richard, why did you want to meet me at this time? What is it so important" he asked in a deep voice. It would be a lie if I say it didn't scare me. And then his eyes looked at me.

He looked back to uncle Rishi with surprised eyes.

"Can we have a moment?" he asked uncle and they both walked into a room.

I held the strap of my bag so tight as if my life depends on it. The woman walked to me.

"You look beautiful, what is your name?" she asked. Her voice is so gentle. I gave her a smile, trying my best not to show her my pain.

"Thank you, I am Ashi..." I replied.

"I am Iris"She replied. I gave her a nod.

"You look beautiful aunty" I replied.

My stomach growled, I close my eyes with embarrassment.

"Omg, haven't you eaten yet?" she asked.

"No aunt"I replied feeling shy.

"Just sit here will get you something to eat," she said with worried eyes and left inside, which I assumed to be the kitchen.

I sit there, waiting for any of them to come. I Am feeling nervous.

Jason's POV:

"Jason. Will go back" Arthur said and even I agreed, it feels like an hour already. I turned back into human form and picked a short from behind the bushes.

I walked back to the house and the sweat is dripping from my body. Arthur started being crazy again.

"Don't you feel it?" he asked.

"Feel what?" I ask him in return as I stepped into the house.

My nose hit with the most beautiful fragrance ever. Peach blossom. Arthur is wiggling his tail and getting crazy over the smell. I sniff the air and walked in. My eyes landed on a girl. I stood still in my tracks, I felt like my breath got stuck in my lungs.

"MATE" Arthur commented.

"Mate?" I whispered his words out. Arthur howled inside my head.

She got up and looked into my eyes. Shock and surprise are evident in her stare.

"Ashi, come have the dinner" came my mum's voice from the dining area.

"Ashi?" I repeated her name.

Did I find my mate?
