He looked down at me and told me very crisply, “Then leave,” I was left staring at him for a second longer because I couldn’t believe my ears. Did he really say that while I was sick?
I clenched my teeth and glared at him. His true self was exposed to me now. He didn’t me. He just wanted my body, that’s all.
