CHAPTER 25

I was in pain when I stirred awake. My head was hurting really bad and my throat was so dry it was aching. I groaned in pain. Just opening my eyes seemed too painful for me at that moment. I painful sob escaped my lips while I held my throbbing head. It took me a lot of effort to open my eyes and look around.
I was back in my bedroom and oddly slumped against a wall. I tried to remember how I got there when the rusty smell of blood reached my nose. The throbbing in my pain got worse and worse every passing second and my body felt really cold and stiff. My legs felt as if they were made of jelly as I tried to stand up.
I wasn’t able to walk due to the pain so I had to half drag my body and half crawl to my bed. Getting on the bed was a really great trouble for me as wel
