Chapter 17 A soft chime sent Seetha bolt upright from where she’d fallen asleep on her sofa. She groaned as she stood, trying to straighten her neck. She hadn’t meant to close her eyes, much less sleep long enough to twist her limbs into unnatural positions. “Miss Deergatcha?” someone said through her main comm. “Be right there!” Seetha grabbed the warm jacket she’d been keeping by the front door during the days of her convalescence, thick and long enough to cover her to her knees.
