Seetha ended the comm before she started crying. No one, not Les, Rosa, or least of all herself, needed to deal with that. She turned to face the cyborg.
“I’ll scan you again,” Rosa said. “Make sure it’s not only your hands.” She held a long black wand dotted with gleaming sensors. “Clothes off. I’ll check those later.”
Seetha hadn’t worried about her modesty for years around Les, but her whole body flushed with heat and shyness. She forced herself not to turn away while she got undressed.
Rosa held the wand over her own arm with no reaction. When she moved it to Seetha’s hand, it glowed green. Further up her arm, and the glow continued. The tech passed it over her breasts, stomach, back, and legs.
