LEAH'S POV

"Come on, you should rest, too," Luke suggested and I nodded. We both were walking when Dad and Uncle Jacob stopped us. I didn’t look up completely because I didn’t want them to see my red eyes.
"You will make a good couple," Dad said and I smiled a little bit but was careful not to meet his eyes.
"Please, don't let this sudden arrangement ruin your friendship." It was Uncle Jacob. Uncle Jacob saw us more and he knew what I and Luke used to be. But, for the past few days, considering we've been weird, I expected that from him.
"Don't worry, Uncle Jacob. We're good." I said but kept on blinking and then looked at Luke who nodded, too. They both smiled at us and we both walked away.
