The conference was over and Leah just slept in the room. I and Sean walked outside just discussing everything and getting to know each other.
As we talked, I realised how much we faced the same scenario. His words showed how mature he was. He promised that he’ll guide me through the business world. I was glad to have him.
“Sean, I’ll see you in a while,” I said to him as he walked towards Mia’s room, where Lauren was resting.
I made my way towards the small office where I knew I’d find Dad. I hadn’t had a chance to talk to him. I knocked and entered and luckily, only he was there.
“Dad,” I muttered and sat in the chair in front of him. He looked up at me with a smile as he put away his file and had his entire attention on me.
“My son finally has time for me.” H
