I had scrambled out of the store and implored Jack to leave me home. It was the best that I went home to face no one.
I was on the balcony, crying tears. It was going to be a long day. I was in Luke's room eating ice cream from the tub.
I was too disturbed and too anxious.
I could declare that I was head over heels in love with Luke, but he loved Lauren. He proved that when he kissed Lauren in front of my own eyes. It was hard to remove their picture from my mind. I groaned.
I had to discover a neat way. I had misrepresented to Luke about Aaron, now I had to take care of that, too. If I asked Aaron to be my date, he'll think that I reciprocate his feelings and it will hurt him in the end when he'll know the truth.
