SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE ELEVEN

After the meeting Anderson left and Onyi was left behind talking to the mystery guy. He was still not sure about the plot to kill Eddy since he had been good to him all along. Of all the people Eddy got along with, it was Leo first then Mark and it's only because he was in need of the extra cash that he agreed to take the job.

Voice: what is it, are you developing cold feet?

Mark: that was not the deal and you know it. We agreed on spying and reporting to you I got you all the information you needed,I even helped you kidnap Robert and now you want to kill Eddy, why do you want him dead in the first place, why his family?

Voice: Mike, you have just one more day to get me the file so if i was you I would get on it.

Mike: I'm not killing Eddy. I will get you the laptop then we are done!

Voice: we are not done until I say so.

Mike got up and took out the phone he was given for communication purposes and dropped it on the table telling him they were done and that he should look for someone else to do his dirty works.

The guy called someone asking them to bring Robert in and he also told mike not to go anywhere.

Robert was brought in with his hands tied and when he saw Mike he couldn't believe it. Robert looked hungry and so tired that he could not even stand on his legs.

Mike: what is this?

Voice: untie him and let him go.

Mike: what are you doing, you want him to go out there and tell the crew that i was involved, you know what will happen to me.

Voice: yeah,I know Eddy will kill you himself for making a fool out of him, for snitching on him and for wanting to steal files from his laptop. I said let him go.

Robert was set free and he dragged himself to leave the room as the guy took a video of both him and mike but after careful thought mike drew his gun and shot Robert two times in the back and he dropped.

Voice: good choice now go and do what I asked you to do before this video go viral had let Eddy have your head for killing his boss.

Mike walked out in disappointment as the two guys got rid of the body.

Dru and venessa talked while in the car and Dru being manipulative told venessa how badly Eddy was treating them , he told her that since their boss left him and the other team members had been doing deliveries and Eddy never gave them their cut, he kept everything between him and Leo.

Dru: I confronted him and thats why he wanted to kill me the other day and he took you to get back to me too. Thank God you escaped because I don't know what I would have done without you.

Venessa: but he found me at Rayna's place and he did nothing to me. Eddy is not as bad as you make him look.

Dru: so you are saying I am a liar?

Venessa: no babe but if he wanted me dead he could have killed me yesterday.

Dru: I don't know why you claim to love me when we can not be in the same page. My enemies should be yours too. Soon he will hook up with Rayna and she will benefit from all that money as you and i go drying. Open your eyes venessa, you need to do something.

Venessa: what do you want me to do?

Dru: get information from Rayna on when Eddy banks the money and which bank he banks in, I will organize my guys and h****k them and you will get a clean cut of 200,000.

Venessa: you guys make that much money?

Dru: they do atleast three deliveries twice every week and a delivery can bring in around 5million that is banked slowly. You can find a way of getting that info from Rayna.

Venessa: Rayna is smart and i think she will know when I'm trying to get info from her.

Dru: if that fails, we will go to plan B, we will kidnap her and ask for money from Eddy. You will ask her to take you shopping then text me the location of the place you will be shopping at, my boys and I will do the rest.

Venessa: let me see what I can do.

Dru kissed her and got out of the car and as he headed to his car, he made a call to Malika.

Dru: baby I'm coming home for dinner...

While Mike was in his car, he got a text on his phone and when he opened he saw a trimmed video of his hand shooting Robert with a follow up saying he had 24 hours left for the job to be done.

Mike called immediately and the call was answered.

Mike: I will do what you want. I will not cut the brakes to his car but Im going to shoot him dead right now, you will have proof of hos death and the laptop by tomorrow then we will be done.

Voice: I will be waiting to read the papers on the death of Eddy Anwar first thing in the morning.

Mike hanged up then called Eddy who picked after a few rings.

Eddy: mike, what's up?

Mike: I need to see you now, I know who killed our boss.

Eddy: Robert is dead?..Where are you?

Mike: at the T-junction that leads to the hideout. Come alone please this is a delicate situation and yes, Robert is really dead.

Eddy: I'm a bit far off from that place can we meet at club TJ'S instead?

Mike: sure I'm on my way.

He hanged up and threw the phone on the dash board, "you can do this Mike,you can do this because it's either you or him." He told himself as he drove off to go meet Eddy....

The mystery guy called one of his guys and told him to take two more men with him as he followed mike and the order was to kill both Mike and whoever he was meeting. If he was going to a house he was to be followed there and the guys were to make sure everyone that was in that house died "I can't deal with a traitor who has his loyalty on both parties"...

Eddy got to the spot where they were to meet and as soon as he spotted Mike's car he got out and approached him and when mike saw him approaching he got out too.

Mike leaned on the car as he handed Eddy his phone to watch the video and Eddy did then looked up to face him.

Eddy: he is dead dead?

Mike: yes.

Eddy bent over taking a deep breath and while at it he heard the c*****g of a gun and looked up to meet mike pointing a gun to his face.

Eddy: whoooa bro what is this about?

Mike: I'm sorry but I have no choice.

Eddy: choice over what?

Mike: killing you and don't even think about getting your gun because this will end badly for you.

Eddy: so it's you, you kidnapped Robert and killed him, ...for what?

Mike: I didn't kill him, the person I'm working for did and he wants your head too.

Eddy: the person you are working for?

Even before Mike could answer that they heard a car take an emergency break then there were shots fired at them. Mike grabbed Eddy's arm and they both hid behind his car.

Eddy chucked his gun from behind and started shooting at them too.

The first few bullets went unaccounted for as he couldn't even see who he was shooting at.

Mike: get moving I will cover you.

He shouted trying to find a good spot as the other guys were really spraying bullets on his car.

Mike got up to shoot but a bullet hit him and his gun dropped. Eddy took Mike's gun and shot at those guys with both and after dropping two guys one managed to get in the car even though he did not get far before a bullet hit his head from behind and penetrated the windscreen. The car crushed into a pole and soon after there was smoke coming from it. He got up and pointed his gun at Mike who had by then surrendered knowing so well that Eddy was not going to let him walk free

Eddy: who were those guys?

Mike: someone wants you dead. If you save my life i will give you all the information you need.

Eddy grabbed mike by the arm and helped him to his car and he drove off.

They got to Eddy place at around 9:12pm and Eddy dropped him on the couch. He took care of his wound then put the hand on an improvised sling.

All this time he was quiet and no one really knew what was going on in his mind. When he was done, he called leo and told him about their boss being dead and asked if Leo could go to his place and Leo promised to be there in less that half an hour.

Eddy poured some whiskey in his glass and took a mouthful before staring long and hard at mike.

Eddy: have you been working with Dru too?

Mike: no. Someone else.

Eddy: does he have a name?

Mike: I don't know his names and I've never even see his face, I only take orders from him.

He took another mouthful of whiskey and then sat on the table facing him running his finger round the tip of the the glass.

Eddy: what had the orders been?

Mike: he wants a file from your laptop.

Eddy: what file?

Mike: I don't know but he told me what to find in it.... It's a file that contains info on Anwar foundation. I don't know what he needs it for.

Eddy: that file does not only contain information on Anwar foundation but all the names of the donors my father was working with. It has bank details of different banks that function as far as the foundation is concerned. Who is this guy and what does he want those information for?

Mike: I don't know but he is not only a threat to you but your entire family too. He is also after Sean and your mum.

Eddy: how, for Sean it makes sense because he is the one interested in the Anwar foundation but what had that got to do with Niki and my mum?

Before he could answer that there was a knock and Leo let himself in.

Leo: what's going on man, is it true about Robert?

He looked at mike and back at Eddy.

Leo: what the hell happened to you?

He walked to Eddy's mini bar, poured himself some whiskey and came back and say next to mike.

Leo: what happened?

Mike: we were attacked and I got shot.

Leo: "we" should in this case be you and who?

Eddy: i was with him. All this time we thought Johansen was pulling the shots it happens that there is someone else in the picture.

Leo: what do you mean?

Eddy: an anonimous who has been working with mike to finish me and my entire family.

Leo: is it true?

Mike: yes but after realizing he wanted to kill Eddy i backed out of the deal and this is the result.

Leo: why would you even make the deal in the first place?

Mike: I needed extra cash man I've got projects going on for my after thug life and i only thought of it as a job. It had nothing to do with anyone in the beginning but he became manipulative and my mission changed.

Eddy: what did you do for him that affected the team apart from k********g and killing the boss?

Mike: I put a recorder in the ITs guy bag. We needed to know all your moves.

Eva got into my house and I could detect some traces of worry in her face. She threw her bag on the couch then sat and took a deep breath.

Me: are you okay?

Eva: why would someone call me to her home to go make her hair then she doesn't pay me?

Me: well, some clients are just like that. Are you hungry, you can prepare something and eat.

Eva: what about you?

Me: i'm full. I had lunch with Sean earlier and Eddy just left here a few minutes a go. He brought me food.

Eva: girl aren't you lucky?

Me: i know right?

Eva: tell me though, apart from being charming and hot tempered what else is good about Eddy?

Me: alot of things. I'm beginning to understand him now. He lost his fiancee who was pregnant with their first child. He has never gotten over it.

Eva: poor thing. So what's the deal, are you seeing both Sean and Eddy?

Me: sean yes, its official but Eddy no though he's just so irresistible.

Eva: you can say that again. They are both hot...

Eva got up went to the kitchen to start preparing dinner before and she asked over her shoulder if venessa was coming back.

Me: I don't know, i have not spoken to her.

Niki drove to where the shoot for the music video was taking place and as soon as she got out of the car she walked a short distance before a very fine young lady caught up to her..

Her: hey Niki?

Niki: hello.

Her: my name is Clarissa and I'm a big fan. You mind a selfie?

Niki: of cause not.

She smiled for the camera and after the selfie Niki hurried inside leaving Clarissa smiling to herself.

As she made her way back she bumped into one of the famous celebrities whose song was being shot. She asked for a selfie and after talking for a while sir Dee allowed her to go in with him and watch.

Clarissa was exited because she was going to have time with her favourite socialite and musician as well.

The shoot went well and when they were done, Niki walked up to Clarissa and started a chat. She asked her how she knew sir Dee and Clarissa said she was a big fan of his music so he picked two of his fans to come watch the shoot and she happened to be one of the two. That was a lie but Niki was certain that if she was there it's because she deserved to be there. They talked and exchanged contacts then Clarissa mingled with the rest of the team as Niki talked to sir Dee.

Sir Dee: such a hot babe.

Niki: is that an insult to me?

Sir Dee: no you know I'm kidding.

Niki: how was the shoot?

Sir Dee: the team says you were awesome and i believe them. I will write your cheque the day after tomorrow. You can drop by the office and pick it up.

Niki: sure. It's been good working with you. I will get going and please keep in touch.

Sir Dee: i sure will. Hey Clarissa, you need a ride?

She said yes as she went to where sir Dee was and they walked out of the building together.

Niki called Sean asking him if she could go crash at his place and he agreed because Saying no to her would send her to a club and have her drink herself to death and that was just another scandal loading for the Anwar family.

Sean had reported to the office shortly after the talk with his mum who said she was not going to fire Anderson for whatever reason. Anderson and Sean met by the lifts when it was time to go home and no one spoke to the other, infact Sean let Anderson go down first and waited for the lift to come back and when it did, he got in, got to the parking and drove off.

Niki got to Sean's place first so she got comfortable before she looked inside the kitchen cabinets to see what was there that she could cook. As she was going about that she got a call from Anderson and she put it on loud speaker so that she could continue doing whatever she was doing.

Anderson: what brought you to the office Niki?

Niki: that's my father's company and I can walk in and out anytime I feel like it.

Anderson: I see. What you did was un acceptable. I liked you but you pushed me away, Is it bad that your mother saw something you couldn't see in me?

Niki: you are so shameless, I thought the few nights we spent together meant something to you. Were you just using me to get to my mother?

Anderson: you can call it what you want darling, your mother and I are adults and we can do whatever we damn please without you behaving like an imature spoilt brat. Stay out of my business and take that as a warning.

He hanged up without letting her say another word. She stared at the phone the leaned on the kitchen counter and took a deep breath before getting back to her cooking..

"We need a strategy now that the boss is dead,we need to flash your mystery guy out so that we can know who he is and what he wants."

Eddy said getting up from the table and pacing up and down. He stopped and looked at Mike.

Eddy: the IT guy,was he working with you too?

Mike: no, he is clean. The reason why you never found Robert where he told you he would be is bacause our guys moved him.

Eddy took his gun and pointed it at Mike

Mike: what the hell man, you saved my life and now what,you want to kill me?

Eddy: you are a traitor, you sold us out to the enemy and you almost got me killed. Now why on earth would I let you live?

Mike: because I'm here and I want to help you guys. You are my squad man and screw Mr anonymous.

Leo: Eddy drop your gun,if you wanted him dead he wouldn't be here.

Eddy: what if it's a trap?

Mike: it's not. I have a plan..

They both looked at him waiting for him to talk.

Mike: get rid of the file in that computer then I will take him the laptop and after that he will let me go then we can now work on bringing him down.

Leo: bad idea. These guys don't work like that,you told him you would back out and to him that means his secrets are nolonger safe with you so the moment you give him that laptop he will kill you.

Eddy: Leo is right. You are going to stay out of sight but you will give us the address of where to find him then after Leo and i find out what he wants, we will deal with him.

Eddy got him a small notebook and a pen and he wrote the address on it and handed it back to him.

Mike: be careful with that guy, he is full of surprises..

Sean got home and found Niki cooking so he said hello freshened up and joined her in the kitchen. Sean poured himself a glass of juice and leaned on the counter as he watched her cook.

Sean: what's bothering you?

Niki: alot of things, do you think things would have been different had dad been here?

Sean: I don't know Niki, loosing dad was a big blow but mum is all we've got left and we are the ones to do things dad is not here to do for us.

Niki: i know that, just that mum is so different. She is totally drunk in power and she doesn't even care about her image or the impression she is leaving out there.

Sean: i know. You were right earlier but she is our mum and you can't go at her like that. We can correct her, that's fine but we cannot stop her from living her life however she pleases because Dad is not here anymore to give her direction.

Niki got two plates and served both her and Sean then Sean carried two glasses as they headed to the living room.

Niki: it's a bout time you got a woman to do your cooking.

Sean: she's already there just that she has not visited yet.

Niki: really,like you really have a girlfriend?

Sean: yes, her name is Rayna and she is so beautiful. You should meet her.

Niki: invite her home for dinner then.

Sean: are you sure you and mum won't get in a fight while she is there?

Niki: I will behave, i promise.

Sean: fine. I will call her and set the date.

Clarissa was not just Niki's fan like she had made it seem earlier, she was the mysterious guy's other tool to get Niki as Mike had already defected and as for Anderson he wasn't sure if he would complete his task because Mike would screw the whole plan by telling Eddy about Anderson's intention.

Clarissa sat and waited for him to get on his chair and after he did, Clarissa showed him her phone.

Clarissa: I got her number. We even took a selfie. Do you want to call her?

Voice: not yet I'm still trying to figure out how I will go about it.

Clarissa: you can pose as my brother when I ask her to meet me for lunch.

Voice: she is a socialite and has no time to meet people's brothers she deals with millionaires.

Clarissa: why are you after that family anyway?

Voice: you will soon find out. I have an idea on how I will get her to come to me.

Clarissa looked at him but didn't say a word. He took Niki's number from Clarissa's phone and dialed it.

Clarissa: (whispering) what are you doing?

Before he could answer that, Niki had received the call.

Niki: hello?

Voice: hello I'm I speaking to Niki Anwar?

Niki: yes. How may I help you?

Voice: my name is Sadic and I'm having a party on the 22nd of this month at my place in one of the high-end estates and I would like you to grace that occasion by making an appearance.

Niki: me, ...why me?

Sadic: I'm introducing a new magazine in town and I would like you to be on the cover. You are a powerful woman and the daughter of one of the most powerful men, I'm sure you would like the world to know that besides being a socialite, there's so much more you have to offer.

Niki: that's sounds good. Please schedule a meeting and let's talk about that in depth.

Voice: great. I will communicate.

He hanged up and got up.

Voice: see,that wasn't so hard. No one can say no to a good deal.

Clarissa: is there going to be a party for real?

Voice: yes. The party will be to introduce myself to the world and after that, the world will be mourning the death of the late MPs daughter after a greesly road accident. I've learned that if you want to do something perfectly you do it yourself

Clarissa: you want to kill her?

Voice: yeah, but i will still make her famous by keeping my promise of her being on the cover of The Style magazine. Niki Anwar will be popular in life and death..
