SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE THREE

Venessa parked her car after driving in one of the homes where there was a guy called Dru waiting for her as per the plan they had. When he saw the car drive in, he got out to meet venessa and they shared a passionate kiss before he opened the trunk to the car and came face to face with his boss. He smiled as his boss looked at him in shock. He could not understand how the two knew each other or why he ended up in the car's boot.

Dru: you look terrified sir, was the ride Scarry, I know venessa. She is a reckless driver.

He said holding venessa's waist, pulling her even closer and kissing her again as he watched.

Venessa: come on, be nice. You know I'm not as reckless as you are and besides, we don't want to kill this old man now, do we?

They helped each other get him out of the trunk and dragged him into the house. He was quite heavy but they managed. They took him to one of the rooms and threw him on the bed after untying his mouth.

Boss: you are a dead man Dru, how could you....

Even before he could finish that sentence Dru hit him on the head and he fell on the bed.

Dru: you don't get to ask questions and you don't get to make threats either. When you are here, I'm the boss and if you try something stupid i will kill you..

The boss remained silent staring at venessa who stood there looking at him as if she had never seen him before. When Dru was done untying him, he took his gun and shot him in the leg before walking out with venessa and locking the door.

Venessa: why did you shoot him, we were only to threaten information out of him.

Dru: we can't untie him and leave him just like that, he can find away of attacking us.

What took you so long to get here?

Venessa: I had to lay low until people started leaving so that if at all we were being followed, no one would know where we were going.

Dru: how was the party?

Venessa: good. The i***t did not get me a car for my birthday..

Dru: you don't need another car. What you need is a lot of money which you will soon have. You will not regret doing this..

He smiled as he took his car keys and started walking away but venessa grabbed his arm and hugged him. He hugged her back but quickly pulled off from the hug and tried to walk away again but she wouldn't let go.

Dru: what is this?

Venessa: where are you going?

Dru: I need to check in. Eddy has called for an emergency meeting and if I don't show up he will get suspecious.

Venessa: but that was not the plan, you said we would spend time together.

Dru: which is okay, I will be back. If I don't show up for that meeting my cover will get blown and all this hustle won't be worth it. I will come back, just stay away from that room. Everything you need is here. What you don't have, give me a call and I will get it on my way back..

He walked out and venessa followed him out to see him get in his car and drive off..

At Around 12:00pm I heard a knock and i knew it was Eva since we had been chatting on the phone and she was within the estate so I got up and went to open the door. She walked in with a pair of big glasses and made her way to the living room.

Me: what's wrong with your eyes?

Eva: they are swollen. Luck of enough sleep to be precise.

I smiled then sat next to her.

Eva: do you have food in this house, I'm starving.

Me: wasn't there food where you came from?

She took off the glasses and looked at me and rolled her eyes..

Eva: I'm hungry..

Me: is noddles okay with you, its what i have right now I haven't shopped..

Eva: Noddles is not food girl nowonder you are this thin, you survive on noodles, anyway that's okay. Let's go prepare some noodles..

We left the living room for the kitchen and Eva was the one doing the cooking. I sat on the kitchen counter as I kept her company.

Eva: what happened to you yesterday, you just left?

Me: well, i got into an accident and i couldn't stay.

Eva: what kind of accident?

Me: some guy tried to take advantage of me and even tore my blouse. I was too embarrassed but some guy beat him up and saved my life.

Eva: did the fight happen in the kitchen because we found broken glasses everywhere.

I nodded then looked down in shame.

Eva: you should have told me.

Me: i didn't want to spoil your moment, you were having fun but I'm glad a guy called Eddy was there.

She looked up at me surprised and screamed. she stopped cutting the tomatoes and shook me real hard then hugged me and let go.

Eva: you talked to Eddy as in Eddy Anwar?

I nodded still not getting what the fuss was about.

Me: he actually gave me his jacket and drove me home.

Eva: oh lawd! Girl sail that ship.... Sail that ship. Gosh do you know what would happen if I found myself in the same car with Eddy, i would... Eeeeh and eeeeeh!

She started doing a lap dance in the air making some funny sound and i couldn't help but burst out in laughter. This one am not sure where I picked from but she sure knew how to make my day. You should have seen how she laughed at me when I told her about the fall. I loved Eva because she was so real and her love was unconditional. She was ever bubbly and cheerful and she honestly had no time for negative energy..

Eva: so did he ask you out?

Me: no, it was just a ride and besides that. I'm not his type of a girl.

Eva: how do you know that?

Me: I don't know, but I think that his league is way above my level.

Eva: there is nothing like his league girl. What matters is that you like him.

Me: well I don't....

Eva: mmh...

Eva cooked as we talked about other things and in the process we started taking about venessa. I asked if she had other ways of reaching venessa but she assured me she didn't. She told me to let venessa have fun and enjoy the rich guy's money before she was dumped for another. Eva was crazy but she was different, venessa on the other hand was a bad influence and now that Eddy had shed some light on the type of person she was, I wanted to protect Eva from her but I didn't know how to do it without raising an alarm or making her feel like I was just hating on her friend.

Dru got to the meeting a few minutes earlier and he joined in rest at the table as they waited for Eddy who was a few minutes late. Twenty minutes after the agreed time Eddy walked in and took his seat.

Eddy apologized coming in late, giving a few reasons then he let the team know why he had called them for a meeting.

Eddy: we have a mole in the crew.

Everyone looked at him including Dru who had been on the phone a few times probably checking on their boss whom he had locked up yet he was there pretending like nothing had happened.

Eddy: with the help of one of you, our boss got kidnapped, we don't have much info and we don't have much time since we have packages to deliver and the window is closing in on us.

He got his bag and pulled out a few photos looked at them real quick then gave them to go round.

Eddy: the lady you are looking at is called Venessa. She was our Boss's mistress and there is a posiblility that she is with him.

Dru: we don't know that for sure, the boss has alot of enemies and what was that prank, telling us to go after something that was not even there?

Dan: yes, what if it was a trap and the whole team got wiped out.

Eddy: listen guys, everyone got played you can ask Leo here.we communicated till last minute as we tried finding the guy who is behind all this.

Dru: then why didn't you just call off the whole thing. We looked like idiots.

Leo: easy Dru. Like Eddy said there is a traitor here who got us all mixed up. The reason why we didn't call off the mission was because we wanted you to clean sweep the house which I'm surprised you guys never did.

Dan: let us get this clear, who are we taking the orders from?

Eddy: what sort of question is that?

Dru: Dan is right. You two guys talk as if you have authority over everyone. No one made you guys incharge..

Leo: when the boss is not here, someone has to take charge and we all know Eddy is the guy for that so you are either part of the team or you are not. None of us enjoyed what went down last night and you should know, this is a battle field not some comfort zone, you should be ready for missions all the time and be positive about it whether it fails or not.

Mark: so did we find the guy in question?

Eddy: Johansen is in our custody but he also has the boss so we can't really do anything with him until we get the boss. All plans are on hold.

Mark: how did he even get the boss and why can't he trade himself with the boss?

Eddy: like I said, someone in here is working for him. We can let him go yes but that means a thousand other things could go wrong after that. The plan is to keep him here and look for the boss.

Dan: so are we just going to hold him here and do nothing until we find a boss that has gone MIA?

Mark: listen up guys, this argument is not going to solve anything. The boss is missing and Eddy is next in command, let's listen to what plans he has and stop this battle for supremacy. No one knows if the boss is still alive or dead so we can't let the Johansen guy leave. There has to be another way.

Leo: thank you for that Mark..

Eddy: we have deliveries to make and we cannot afford to disappoint the client. Mark I need you to help me find an IT guy.

Dru: IT guy for what?

Eddy ignored that then assigned Dan and Dru to do the deliveries as Leo and him worked on finding the boss.

Eddy: any questions or areas of clarification?

Dru: I asked what we need the IT guy for.

Eddy: we need to hack into a few systems and we also want to see if we can trace the boss via his phone or any other electronic gadget he has been carrying around with him.

Dru: okay.

Eddy dismissed the meeting and everyone parted ways except for Leo and him who were left talking.

Leo: whats going on between you and Dru?

Eddy: I have no idea what that was about.

Leo: I was looking at all those guys but I did not see a traitor, all I see is men we have worked with for years.

Eddy: trust me Leo, the mole does not have the word traitor written on his face but we will find him.

Leo: so what do we do with Johansen?

Eddy: nothing yet. If we do anything, the guys who have the boss might kill him.

Leo: I don't think we will find the boss by just looking for him. I say we beat the crap out of Johansen until he gives us the name.

Eddy: not a good idea. Johansen is smart and beating him up might get things worse for our boss wherever he is. Remember the mole is here and they have all seen him. We don't know what instruction he might issue next. I say we find an IT guy, trace them then do a trade after we have hit his camp and destroy everything. After we have done the exchange and gotten the boss back we hunt Johansen down and kill him too.

Leo: okay but I still think hitting his camp will bring alot of heat on us yet with a mole inside, I'm not sure we are ready to fight back.

Fine let's see what the IT guy has to offer....

Eva and I were done cooking so we went back to the living room to eat from there. We were in the middle of eating when a call came through Eva's phone and she complained of the fact that the person was calling her with a private number so she did not bother picking but the caller was persistent and she let me pick it instead.

Me: hello.

There was silence

Me: hello are you there?

No one responded but hanged up instead so I put the phone back on the table and looked at her.

Me: that's strange.

Eva: who is it?

Me: whoever it is they are not saying anything.

Eva: do you think it could be those illuminati guys who...

Me: stop it, I don't think those things are real.That is just someone playing games with you, it could even be the guys in prison. Let me see that number again.

Eva pushed her phone to me and I called back but the phone was now off.

Me: the phone is off.

I crammed the number before giving the phone back and after talking for a while, I excused myself for a minute to go write down that number before I forgot. I'm not sure why I thought it was venessa but I couldn't stand any chances...

When Mark and the two guys stepped out Dru approached Mark telling him he could help him find an IT guy since he knew a few of them. Mark agreed and took the phone number from Dru and saved it in his phone. He watched Dru walk away then he made a call almost immediately. " The plan is motion" he said to the caller before hanging up, getting in his car and driving off...

Dan: you better stop going at Eddy like that, we all could notice that you have something personal against him.

He said getting the boxes in the back sit of Dru's car.

Dru: it's nothing personal man, that kid comes from a rich family and should things go wrong, he will throw us all under the bus as his mummy dearest will come to his rescue.

Dan: I'm just saying there are better ways to go about it. He is in charge.

Dru: not for long.

Dan: what does that mean.

Dru: I mean we will soon find the boss and he will get back to his position and whose side are you on anyway?

Dan: there are no sides. I'm just telling you to get off Eddy's back. He is dangerous and you know he will retaliate with a bullet if he feels challenged and threatened.

Dru looked at him shrugged his shoulder then got in and when Dan got in, they drove off...

Venessa prepared something to eat and because she was worried about her man whom she had helped kidnap, she took him some food and when she opened the door, she saw him seated at one corner of the room. He noticed her come in but he did not move a muscle.

Venessa: I've brought you something to eat.

Robert looked at her but did not say a word.

Venessa: I know you are mad at me but atleast I'm playing nice, when Dru gets here you will not see food with your eyes.

Robert: is he worth it?

He asked looking up at her..

Venessa: worth what?

Robert: screwing me over, why did you do it, for money?

Venessa: no, for love. I love him and that's something I never expected you to understand. We both know you and I kept this thing going for the benefits we got from each other and besides, where do you think I would go with a married man?

Robert: what benefits are you talking about, you think I was with you for s*x?

Venessa: of cause yes, isn't that what every old guy looks for in younger women?

Robert tried to get up but the pain in his leg wouldn't let him..

Robert: you know that's not true, I did everything for you, I screwed my family over and left my wife for you because I love you but from the look of things, you were only using me.

Venessa: I never used you. Everything you gave me I deserve because I paid for it with my body. The only problem is that I never really loved you. It's always going to be Dru...

He bent his head down then looked at her again in disbelief...

Venessa did not seem to care and she did not feel like she was hurting his feeling either. So she sat there and ate the food she had taken to him as he watched..

Dru and Dan drove for a while before a car crossed theirs blocking their way and the guys who were inside started shooting at them. Dan stopped the car abruptly as Dru reached for his gun.

Dan: who are those guys?

Dru: I don't know.

He said letting out his body halfway and shooting at the vehicle aiming at the tire but he could not get a clear shot.

Another car came from behind and two men got out and ran towards Dru's car pointing a gun at both of them.

Guy1: get out!

Both Dru and Dan got out with their hands up.

The guy led them to the front side of the car as the other two from the other car came and took the two boxes and shifted them to their cars.

Dru: what the hell are you doing man, someone is waiting for that s**t somewhere.

Guy2: shut the hell up. You should be glad this is all we are taking.

Dan: please, let's give you cash, we need to make these delivery or else we will loose our jobs.

Guy1: we don't need your money. Now turn around.

Dan and Dru did as they had been asked then they were both hit severally catching them off guard and they fell. The guys beat them up and hit them on the head leaving them unconscious then they rushed to their cars got in and drove off in speed..

While in the car one of the guys made a call confirming to someone that they had succeeded in beating up the guys and getting the merchandise......
