CHAPTER 13February 21 Wednesday, morning The major lived in a new condo in Rosslyn near the Key Bridge. “It’s amazing, isn’t it?” she said as she fumbled with her apartment keys. “I heard that this location used to be part of the old red-light district. A few real estate guys came in and cleaned the location out in a matter of months when the cops couldn’t do it in years. And now, it’s all expensive apartments and condos and a few high-end shops.
