VALENTINA’S POV

“Don’t get hurt, love.”
Ares's words still echoed in my ears. He had left and handed me the sword. I glanced at the sword, again and again, not wrapping my head around the fact that I had to indeed use it.
Onyx – Valentina! What the hell are you doing here?! Go out there and do your duties! Onyx yelled at me, bringing me out of my worrying phase.
Me – Can I really do it, Onyx? You know we are nothing special and if we go out there, we’ll only bother Ares. I replied to her in a confused state. My motivation for the past two days had worn out and I was again doubting myself.
Onyx – You trust Ares, don’t you? He believes that you can do it. Just have faith in his belief and go out there to fulfil your duties. Onyx explained to me and I pondered over her words.
