Austin POV
I rushed to upstairs. I was confused about how Jes's step mom was in our house and I did wanted to ask her why she was behaving so nice with Jes when mostly she acts so rude with her, atleast that is what I have noticed. But, right now, Ayumi is more important.
Ayumi didn't open her room for a day now. I need to check on her. I went near her room and knocked on her room.
"Ayumi," I said.
"Austin? Is that you?" I heard my Cupcake saying.
"Yes, Cupcake," I said.
I felt the door open as I looked at a sobbing Ayumi.
Ayumi's eyes were red from sobbing and she seamed to be such a mess.
"Ayumi . . ." Before I could say anything, Ayumi hugged me and began to sob.
I patted her head as I helped her going in her room and made her seat on her bed. I closed the door as she sniffed.
"What happened?" I asked her as I sat beside her.
Ayumi didn't say anything as she hugged me.
"Cupcake, I need to know what's wrong," I said as I rubbed her back as she calmed down. "Is it a guy problem?"
Ayumi nodded.
I sighed. "Some guys tried to bother you?"
"Yeah," she said as she hugged her huge teddy bear which was almost half of her side.
"So, who are those guys. I need to kick those bustards ass," I said, angrily. How dare those men bothered my sister?
"Austin, somebody already took care for it," Ayumi sighed as she laid on her bed.
"Somebody? Who are you talking about, Cupcake?" I asked her.
"Austin," Ayumi said as she looked at me. "We recently have a new transfer police officer in our university. Yesterday, I was coming home from the University when some men were circling around me with bikes and were pointing knives. I wanted to use my fighting skills to hit those men but I was wearing a skirt you know, Austin."
"What happened after that?" I asked her.
"Well, after that, those guys started to misbehave with me," Ayumi said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
I hugged my sister. I was angry. I was out of China for only a week and my Cupcake got into danger. I can't believe it. What was Ethan doing?
"Then, you know our new police officer, Mr. Zeitgeist?" Ayumi asked.
"Yeah?"
"Well, he went over there and fought with all those dumbasses," Ayumi smiled. "And, he saved me."
"Nice. That means we need to thank him, huh?" I smiled.
"Yeah," Ayumi said. "But, you know, Austin. For some reason, I think I have a crush on him."
"What?! Ayumi, Mr. Zeitgeist is a police officer and he is probably in his 30s or 40s. How can you ahve a crush on him?" I asked.
"No, Austin. Mr. Zeitgeist is in his 20s," Ayumi said.
"Yeah, right," I said, not believing her.
"Austin, I am telling the truth. Really. We talked to eachother before the fight too, you know?" She said.
I sighed. "Ayumi, we will talk about this later, okay? I am not letting you to date him. Not yet. Just because he saved you doesn't mean that he is a nice guy. We don't know him for a long time."
