I am supposed to die?!

Story 10

I actually felted my heart beating by the duke action and words, i dont know what to say in this kind of situation so i just stayed quiet.

The duke continued talking "I just wanted you to know that even if you resent me or not see me as a father i will always love you."

What he was saying was obviously a misunderstanding so i spoke "No i never resented you and it wasnt your fault of what happend to me." I thought then something 'ughh shitt i am really not great at this, grampsss help'

"And um if you want we can.....cough* have a daughter....father time together to know each other?"

i said feeling embarrased and like my face was completly red. I look at the duke and the duke was...smiling and said "Really? Can you also call me father from now on?"

"....Huh?Uh what"

"Come on call me dad, wait no father hm ah how about,daddy!"

'What the hell is wrong with him?!?' i shouted internally

"Um how about i just call you father"

I said "...say it again" "...Father"

The duke freezed and then said "Alright how about you and me go to the town and spend some time each other"

"Dont you have some work to do"

"You dont need to worry about that and just relaxed for tommorow"

"Uhh sure"

Bang.

The door closed and the duke went out.

I layed down the bed and touched ren.

•your father is the duke right?

Ren said in ny mind

"Somehow yeah"

•Isnt he supposed to be known for being cold? How is he acting like that in front of his child

"Yeah i dont know anymore, hey do you wanna go to the kitchen i will make ice cream"

•Whats that?

"A dessert"

•ok sure.

The whole day was me and ren having fun together in the kitchen eating going to the library and so on.
