As I walked back from the open field where everyone played, I was deep in thought about what I needed to do to improve myself. I was worried about how I would face my father when he found out that I had done something wrong. I was afraid and asked my cousin to stop at a shop. I got out and asked the shopkeeper for two cold drinks, but it took me some time to buy them because many customers were waiting for their items and I wasn't able to ask for what I needed. I was feeling anxious and my face was flushed. Everyone around me was smiling, but I couldn't even lift the corners of my mouth. I was murmuring to myself and finally, I managed to ask for the drinks. I told my cousin, "Hey, do you want to rest for 5 minutes?" He replied, "No, I'm going home to take a bath." He got up and started walking, and I followed him. He raised his hand to his head, and I felt worried again. I thought maybe he was in pain or something was wrong. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down, thinking that everything would be okay. When we reached home, I sat down on the doorstep, and my cousin went inside to take a bath. I was relieved that my father wasn't home at that moment, and I had enough time to convince my cousin not to tell my father about the incident. My mother called out to us, asking what we were doing inside the washroom. I stepped out and sat down next to my mother, telling her the whole story. After my cousin came out of the washroom, my mother asked him to show her his head. At first, he didn't want to, but then he sat down, and my mother saw that his head was full of water from the bath. She told him to apply some cold water to his head, and he did. My mother looked worried and asked me to bring a spoon from the almirah. She scolded me, saying, "Why did you do this to him, Muneeb? You'll never learn!" I felt worried again and ran away. I stepped out of my house and began walking towards the road. Just then, my father appeared at the gate. He opened it and stepped inside. He asked me to borrow the key from my uncle, and I quickly ran to get it. When I returned with the key, my father sat down and asked me to make him a cup of tea. But I didn't stop there. He then called out to me and asked if I had eaten my lunch. I replied, "Yes, Baba, I did." He smiled and handed me a 50-rupee note. "Go and bring your cousin here," he said. I did as he asked and brought my cousin to meet my father. He smiled at my cousin and handed him another 50-rupee note. I was happy to see my father being so kind and generous. He always made sure that my cousin and I were taken care of. I felt grateful for his love and support. When my father gave my cousin the 50-rupee note, something unexpected happened. My cousin suddenly remembered something and told my father, "He hit me with a ball!" As soon as my cousin said this, my father's expression changed. He put down his pen and asked me to sit down next to him. I felt my face turning red with embarrassment. I was surprised that my cousin told my father about the incident. I had been hoping that he wouldn't mention it. But it's natural for people to share their problems or exciting news with others when they're in a good mood. In this case, my cousin was happy to receive the money, and it made him think of the time when I hit him with a ball. He didn't mean to get me into trouble, but he just shared his thoughts with my father.
