WEEK 2: Designing characters

"AAAAAAAGGHHH!! STOOOPP! Pleaazz Shtooop! AAAAAGGGHH!!"
I woke up from my slumber with a heavy breath.
"What was that dream? A nightmare?"
I'm showered in a cold sweat and my body was trembling. I rest for a few minutes to calm myself down.
Then I start moving to the broken window to check the circumstances outside.
It seems it's already morning. The sunrise appeared behind far away mountains. The darkness no longer occupies the forest.
It's a perfect time to explore if I were to say. So I started preparing what's necessary.
I walked outside. Many unpredictable things may happen at any moment. So I'm always on guard and steeled myself if I sensed something.
You could say I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat. Imagine if someone found themselves out of nowhere.
So the best course of action to survive is to take precautions on everything.
Just like when I saw the scary monster yesterday.
Everyone would be scared by that, no doubt.
And now I begin to continue my bizarre adventure.
CHAPTER 2: Hard Choice
"Whoaaa!"
After travelling for few hours,
I witnessed a spectacular view.
A waterfall. But it's no ordinary kind. Everyone can notice the difference right away by just it looks.
It's so beautiful the words can't fully express it alone.
The sparkling beauty that's living of crowd animals.
Birds sang and fish swimming.
It's like a dream for many.
I approached the odourless and crystal clear water and drank a small portion of it barehand. I've been thirsty and my lunges dried since yesterday.
"It's refreshing! The water is purified!"
After a while of discovery, my body can't drink any more water. I filled myself. I took out the bottle from the bag I looted back from the abandoned house and reserved some water in it.
A realization popped in my mind.
Since the water is here, that means it's my chance to take a look at my appearance.
I slowly leaned forward my head into the water. Looking at my image from reflection.
"My face didn't change at all."
I still wore the same face I hated the most.
I had my hopes up for nothing.
"Guess I'm really abducted by someone, huh"
But that's still just a possibility.
I really don't know how I got here in the first place.
Surprisingly the water is not just simple water.
As I dip the dusty old bottle in it, the bottle turned into a shiny clean one.
Is the water could be a sacred one? blessed by some gods? that would be interesting if that were true.
And so I start moving now.
My primary goal here was to get out of this forest to begin with. I can't just live in it for eternity.
I have travelled for 3 hours now I think. I found the paved road and followed its path.
This will lead me to a village or city hopefully.
After walking approximately 1 and a half hours by following the road, I've reached the final destination. Unfortunately, people were guarding the entrance.
They wear metal armour like cavalry while holding a spear.
From their perspective, I'm just an outsider I think, and they might not accept me for being an outsider. In at worst scenario, they might attack me.
Right now I am wearing old pants and a shirt. They might question me about where I came from, what's my nationality and stuff. I hope they don't.
I hope they are friendly.
As I was about to approach them by leaving the bush from the forest being stealthy, someone whispered in my ears.
"Peeking?"
I was startled by a sudden sound.
But I didn't scream or anything.
I turned around and saw a girl in a witch costume. She has ashed like hair, azure iris in her eyes and a grin on her face. She seems to be very optimistic.
"Who are you? How did you get here without me getting noticed?"
I calmly and slightly annoyed ask her questions. I know for a fact that she's no ordinary person.
"I just came back here when I saw a certain someone peeking from a bush. I don't usually meddle in someone's business. You seem to have trouble there. Well then, bye bye~"
She disappeared before I know it.
I can hardly believe what I just saw.
It's just a few seconds. But it feels like a hallucination.
My hypothesis was what if the language is different. Am I in some kind of science experiment? But that seems too impossible. The land is vast, the sun hit, the mountains can be seen far away. So it's out of the question. I just saw a girl wearing a costume party or something, a weird monster, a weird fruit, and a unique waterfall. Where am I?
Thinking right now waste time.
So I approached the Guards.
"Halt!"
he yelled while making contact with me.
Just yelling at me triggers my fear.
I mustered up my courage to talk with them. But despite that, I can't think of a proper answer. It's my weakness to talk with others. I never had proper talk to anyone.
"Kinsa ka? Taga asa ka?"
translate: (Who're u, Where u from?)
The guard talks to me in a language I didn't understand.
I raised both my hands up and talked to them doing an 'I meant no harm' pose. But they didn't get what I'm talking about. That was to be expected.
Surprisingly the guards talked to themselves.
I never get a single word of what they say.
But I know the subject was me.
They allowed me to enter the town after they gave me the bracelet that has small glittering red like a ruby in 3 dots.
As I entered the town, the people there were lively. And so my phobia kicks in.
I don't know where to go as I'm not used to this place yet.
I nervously walked around until someone shouted from distance.
"Langga!!"
And this is where my hard choice begins.
