Carter's POV:   One Week Later   Maybe it had been a stupid hope, a ridiculous wish, but when Carter woke up, she prayed that she was home. She prayed that she would open her eyes and find Lucas asleep next to her, his arms wrapped around her waist. She prayed she'd wake up, and everything would just be alright.    But when she looked around, she found herself back in her small cell, blood covering most of the floor after her last beating.
