Carter's heart started beating so fast Carter wanted to hold her chest still. The voice belonged to the most gorgeous boy Carter had ever seen. He was taller than her, by a lot. He had short blonde hair with tanned skin, a very built body and beautiful sapphire eyes. His smile was wide, his teeth white and perfectly straight. He wore a black tux, hands in his pockets but he didn't seem very cocky or thrilled, kind of nervous and shy.
“I'm Lucas Night.” He said softly, his eyes holding Carter's. His voice was proper yet had a teenage twist to it. “And I am your mate.” He gently took her warm hand in one of his, kissing it softly. His lips were so warm, so soft. His beautiful eyes seemed full of adoration, loving and so kind. Carter felt herself lean in, a beautiful smell filling her nose.
