(Ashley POV) I slowly opened the door and put my head out looking around. "What are you doing?" a familiar voice arose as I jumped and took a step back. I turned around and sighed before glaring at the handsome man in front of me. "Will you stop that?!" I said hitting his arm with my bag. "Sorry." He said with a small smile making my heart skip a beat. "But I am still curious. What were you doing here?" he asked as I sigh. "I am not supposed to go out. I should not go out or I am dead" I said as he looked at me amused. "Is that why you told Millie, you don't want dinner and need to go to bed early?" he asked as my eyes widen. "How did you know that?" I asked shocked as he shrugs. "I have a good ear," he said as he walked forward. "Come on!" he said as I ran to his side. He smiled at me as I once again blushed and walked with him side by side. "Where are we going?" I asked as he smiled. "It's a surprise," he said as I nod and took out my mask and cap from my bag. He laughed and shook his head making me glare. I took out another hat and mask giving it to him. "For me?" He raised his eyebrow and looked at me with confusion. "Yes. You are definitely sure to get famous after this shoot" I said as I looked at him from head to toe. "Yep. Definitely going to be a famous model" I said as we reached a beautiful Royce. "So you are telling me I look handsome," he said as my eyes widen. He leaned closer, his face so close to mine. "I... um..." I said as I involuntarily put my hand on my fast beating chest. "Even mine is beating abnormal," he said suddenly taking my hand and putting it on his chest. My eyes widen as I felt his racing heart. "Can you see how synced our heart beat is?" he whispered as his face inched a bit closer. He was right. Both our heart beat was going in the same rhythm as though they are one and the same. I felt like going into an enchantment as I stared into his beautiful eyes. In the darkness, his eyes were like glowing brightly. My eyes suddenly widen. Wait?! It is really glowing. "Your eyes...." I said as he moved back. "Sorry," he said as he turned away from me. "Are you ok?" I asked as he nods his head. "Sure?" I asked as he took a few deep breaths before turning to me. "I am... Sorry. Being around you, it is hard to control" he said as I looked at him shocked. "Umm.... *Clears throat* So... Let's go?" I asked as he nods. "Yes. Abel has called a taxi. It will arrive in a minute" he said as I frowned. "But isn’t this your car?" I asked as he turned at me. "Yes. It is" he said as he looked around avoiding my eyes. "Don't you know how to drive?" I asked confused as he sighed and looked at me. "Yea. Well... Umm... I don't." he said as I looked at him shocked. "Well... umm... Ok. Ok, that is new." I said as he frowned and took a step to me. "Do you hate a guy who doesn't know how to drive?" he asked as my eyes widen before I burst into laughter. "What? Why would I hate a guy who doesn't drive?" I said in between my laughs. "I was just shocked, nothing else. There is nothing wrong if a man doesn't know how to drive" I said as he sighed and looked at me. "I am really glad," he said as I smiled at him. "But do you have your car keys?" I asked as he nods and fished his pocket. "I needed to take something from the car so I brought to along," he said as I grinned. "Perfect! Tell Abel to cancel the taxi. I am driving" I said as he looked at me shocked before it changed to a smile. "Ok," he said as he took out the phone and called Abel. After that, we entered the car and Chris reached behind to the back as I moved confusedly. I removed my mask and cap sighing in relief as the cold wind hit my exposed skin. "For you," he said as he brought a beautiful huge bouquet of roses. "Oh my! Those are beautiful!" I said shocked as I took them. "Thank you, Chris," I said as he smiled, a light blush lingering his cheeks. "So where are we going?" I asked as I put the rose back to the back seat. "Summer lane," he said as I looked at him shocked. "That is outside the city," I said as he nods. "All right then...." I said as I switched on the GPS. I took a glance at him and I saw how impressed he was with the GPS. I was confused as he asked me how to manage it. Why is he fascinated by the smallest of things? Once we hit the road, I put on light music. The car windows were pulled down and I sigh as the wind sweep through me. "I missed driving," I said as he looked at me. "Why don't you drive?" he asked as I sighed. "Busy with work. Most days I come back very late at night and there is also the case where I am f*******n to go out" I said as he stared at me. "Not enough sleep and eating less. No time for leisure.... you should take care of yourself. Prioritize you" he said as I looked at him with a sad smile. "Unfortunately I can't do that. I have chosen this path and it is my responsibility to the people who love me" I said as he frowns. "But they wouldn’t want to see you weak and unhappy," he said as I nod. "They don't. That is true but it can't be helped" I said as I stopped at a red signal. We are almost out of the city and entering the forest area. There was an awkward silence between us and I didn't want it to continue. "By the way. What is your social media account?" I asked as he turned to me with confusion. "Social media account?" he asked as I glance at him and nod. "Don't tell me you don't have an account?" I said as he cleared his throat and gave a small laugh. "Well... yes... of course, I do... Who doesn't" he said as I raised my eyebrow at the way he talked. "So what is the name?" I asked the signal went green. "Well. Ladies first" he said as I laughed. "You don't know my social account? I feel offended. I am kind of famous you know." I said as he turned to me with wide eyes. "I am sorry I didn't mean to," he said as I laughed again. "I was just joking," I said as he stared at me. "My account is Sophia Melody," I said as he nodded. "Oh I see," he said and I took a quick glance at him. "But I also have another account named Ashley Delaney," I said as he frowned. "Who is that?" he asked as I sighed and stopped the car on the deserted forest road. "My name," I said as he stared at me. "Your real name? I heard pop star often changes their name" he said as I nod. "Yes. Ashley Delaney is my real name. Given to me by my real parents." I said mentally slapping myself. Why am I telling him secrets I have never told anyone?! "Real parents?" he asked as I nod. "Will you keep it a secret if I tell you? You will be the first to know outside the family" I said as he took my hand shocking me. "Of course," he said as he kissed my knuckles. "A kiss of promise," he said as I blushed. I shook my head and cleared my throat trying to gain my sense. "My present parents are not my real parents. They are my aunt and uncle. My mother's sister and her husband. My real parents died in a car accident. I was also in the car along with my present parent's daughter, Cassy. Both my parents and their daughter died in the accident and I was the only survivor. They took me in and told the whole world I was theirs. I felt sad for them. I felt it was my fault. So I worked hard to not disappoint them." I said as he squeezes my hand. "It is not your fault," he said as I shook my head. "If I hadn’t compelled my family to go to the beach, it wouldn’t have happened," I said as he put his hand on my cheek. "Don't cry" he said as he wiped the tear stain. "I am sorry. But I feel obliged to them. They took me as their own and raised me. So I work hard to make them happy.," I said as I moved back and wiped my eyes completely. "What a mood breaker, huh?" I said laughing trying to ease the mood. He was silent for some time and I frowned starting the engine. I shouldn’t have brought it up. "My real name is Caspian." He said as I looked at him shocked stopping my vehicle.
