Mac's POV-
The border patrols have been increased so I've been running around to each outpost checking on the men. Between training and duty shifts we've all been getting burnt out. It doesn't help that pack moral is down since their Luna has been gone for 2 weeks now. Carter decided not to tell them she'd be returning today just in case. I was currently on the northeast side of the territory behind the pack house, walking between outposts. Each outpost was fitted with 4 guards a shift, two to man the post, and two to walk patrol. We tried to pair one experienced fighter and one green fighter per team so our resources were properly distributed. Of course there was always a risk of the green fighter not being much help or even getting killed should they be attacked.
