6 GUILDFORDAs soon as Wayne had read the venues of the circus on the poster, it occurred to him that he could try to combine a visit to Kara with one for them both to the circus. It had been all too obvious to his family too when he had shown them the things that Bob had given him.
Farnborough was to be the circus’ final venue in the UK for the year and it gave Kara an extra two weeks to find somewhere for Wayne to stay. He suggested a room over a pub as being good enough for his needs as well as within his price range. He didn’t envisage spending much time in his room anyway.
He told Kara that it would suit him to go down on the Thursday by bus and by train and stay four nights, travelling back on the Monday. She agreed to all his suggestions and offered to pick him up from the station
