Chapter No.3

Rose Vincent:-

I looked at Christopher who stood beside me with graduation cap on his face and degree in his hands just like me and smiled. The man looks super-hot and handsome doing so many things inside of me. Christopher and I grew up together and share the same age. We understand one another the most and always found together.

Since childhood Christopher spent time with my family than his because my dad spoils him rotten. It’s not like Christopher isn’t close to his family. He is the apple of everyone’s eyes especially Aunt Cassandra’s and Angelina’s. These two women will do anything for him no matter what level they have to go. I have been in love with Christopher since I was a child but he doesn’t know. I don’t know if I should confess to him or not because I don’t want to ruin our friendship or Christopher to hate me because I know he is waiting for his mate while I am waiting for him. For him, I am ready to reject my mate because I don’t think so if I can love my mate as much as I love him.

“Hey, foxy? Where are you lost? Are you alright?” Christopher asked “ Do you want to go on run in the forest? My wolf wants to go on a run. I don’t know about yours.”

“ Are you serious? My wolf always scolds me and give me a hard time or not giving her the control and transform. You know my power ignites when I give control to my wolf.” I tell Christopher who took my hand in his and smiled.

“Don’t you worry. I am with you and you know my wolf is stronger than any wolf since I am the great alpha.” Christopher state arrogantly with a wink making me laugh. Since he has come to know that he is the great alpha he has been over the moon and always teases his siblings wolf for being weak when Linda never fails to kick his wolf’s ass. Zedrian will let go for one time but Linda won’t.

“ Tell that to Linda and watch your ass kick.” I said to Christopher making him laugh.

“ Linda is a Lycan wolf which is why she is allowed and elder than me. I have to respect her or she will make me respect her. She is dangerous than my sister.” Christopher laughed then sighed “ It has been three hours and there is no sign of Angelina. I am worried about her.”

“ Me too,” I said “ But, hey. We know she will fine so we don’t need to worry about that, right?”

“ Yeah, we don’t. Ok, let’s go to the Knight lake house in the forest and cook something over there and watch some movie or something.” Christopher suggested.

“ Sure, why not? I would love that.” I tell him honestly and gained the strength to confess my feelings to him today because at one point I need to share it with him so why not today? Angelina, my mom and Aunt Cassandra are aware of my feelings. Angelina is the one who has motivated me to confess it to her little brother. Her words were if he accepts you then she will be happy even if he doesn’t, I will still be her second in command and best friend like Angelo. And, even if Christopher rejects me we will still be friends so why not give it a shot and give it a try?

Rose Vincent:-

" Yayy! I won again. I beat you. I always do." I did a funny dance after wining the video game from Christopher who laughed looking at my dance and when I pouted he stopped laughing and stood up. I thought he will tease me for my dancing instead he began to dance along with me making me laugh. He picked me up and spun me around in circles.

" It's because, I let you win, dear friend." Christopher said and put me back donw on my feet making me look into his eyes and like always I got lost in them.

" Chris, I wanted to ask one question. Can I ask you?" I ask carefully making him look at me with an arch eyebrow.

" Since, when do I have asked you to ask for a permission before asking for a question for me, Rose?" he asked " You are the only person besides my family who have the full authority on me. So, ask away."

" Will we still be close like this when you find our mate?" I ask making him look at me with a frown on his handsome face.

" Rose, I have told you millions of times that no matter what even if I found my mate you will still be my bestfriend and you will always find em by your side. Never forget that. I will always be there for you when you need me. Mark my words." he tells me with a promise in his words. I chose that moment to confess him about my feeling when all of a sudden we heard some noises and felt someone surrounding the lake house.

" Do you feel that?" I ask.

" Let's transform." he said attentively " Or do you want to fight as a witch?"

" I will fight as a witch. You can transform." I replied with a grin on my face making Christophe shake his head and smile.

" Stop staying with my sister because you are becoming like her. You are begining to talk and live like her." Christopher said making me laugh and alerted when we felt footsteps after footsteps from outside and I don't know why but I feel like it is a trap. But why would someone go after me or Christopher? That is so strange and weird. We both have got no enemies at all then why?
