Chapter No.2

Christopher Knight:-

I looked at Rose with a proud smile on my face as she received the degree and looked at me waving the degree in the air and did a happy dance on the stage making everyone including me laugh. What can I say? She is full of life and wants to enjoy every moment of her life and make everyone happy at the same time. She's my bestfriend that I will do anything for and always keep her safe

no matter what happens. Rose never gives a thought about what everyone else is thinking of her or her crazy habits. She is always lost in her world.

"We did it. We did it, Chris."Rose came running to me and hugged me tight. I hugged her back and laughed with her and jumped up and down with excitement because indeed we graduated finally.

"Indeed, we did it, friend." I tell her with a chuckle when she stopped and looked around. Uh oh! I know that look. Angelina and Rose are beyond close to one another and share everything regarding their lives.

"You did it, sister." Angelo came from behind and spun his sister around in circle making Rose yelp and giggle. Angelo looked at me and nodded his head giving me the signal that he has it under control. Of course,my dear sister will always rely on Angelo because he is her one and only trusted bestfriend and partner in crime.

" Angelo, put me down or I swear to God I will turn you into a frog and trust me Angelique won't kiss a frog to turn him back into a prince because that little hellion has got standard." Rose threatened Angelo with Angelique making me

burst out laughing whe Angelo instantly put Rose on the ground and apologized.

"And, hey. NO calling my mate a hellion." Angelo growled making Rose roll her beautiful eyes and look at our families " Where is Angelina?" she asked the question and looked at Zediab " Where is your twin, Zed?"

"Oh, she must be here and there giving someone trouble since she is a troublemaker." Zediab replied nervously when Rose looked at him with an arched brow then looked Jared.

"There is no way Angelina will miss her little brother's graduation ceremony for world unless there is something wrong in her kingdom or some other serious matter that can bring harm to her family and friends so tell me Jared what are you guys hiding?" Rose demanded. Everyone stayed silent then she looked at me for answer.

"At least you tell me, Chris. You never hide anything from me." she asked with hope in her eyes when I looked down at my feet too.

"I am sorry, Rose. But. I can't. I have got my sister's order." I apologized to her when she went running out of the ceremony hall.

"Rose...Rose!!" me and our family went running after her. She is too close to Angelina and always senses when her queen is in danger. Rose is second in command to Angelina and very loyal and sincere to her that for her she will give her life happily.

We followed her to find her standing in the basketball court trying to open the portal but every time she tries to open it the portal shuts down and pushes her back.

“ Rose, my child. Angelina has locked down all the portals for you. Please stop.” Aunt Ellie went running to her daughter along with Uncle Kevin.

“No, mom. She never does anything like this with me ever then why is she doing this now? What is happening over there at palace and what are you guys hiding about from me?” Rose asked “I need to be with her and fight beside her. I am her second in command. She can’t block me like that.”

“She has done it on purpose, flower.” Uncle Kevin said to his daughter “She wants you and Christopher to enjoy your graduation ceremony because this is a big day for both of you.”

“I want to go!” she yells out loud and pushed her parents away in anger with her magic. Rose has got one problem. She has got no control on her powers because day by day they are rising. The powers are getting stronger but her body is becoming weak. She was fine until a year ago but suddenly no one knows what happened with her that made her power get this strong.

“Rosa,” I took steps towards her carefully while keeping my gaze fixed to hers. She can’t be controlled by anyone except for me. I don’t know why me? But every time I am around her, she becomes calm and forgets everything. Maybe, it is because of our strong friendship bond?

“Christopher,” she murmurs “Take me out of here. Something is happening to me. My body is burning up and I don’t want to hurt anyone with it.”

“Ok, I will take you out of here. You just stay calm and focus on your breathing and take my hand. And, forget about Angie. She is going to be fine and you know it. We all know it. Just like you I am curious too what is happening at the palace and what is she hiding but we are not going to discuss this now, okay? Today, we are going to celebrate our graduation ceremony together. Just you and me, alright? Do you want that? We can go anywhere you like and do all the silly things we do together. We can always prank or scare our teachers for one last time before getting out of this college? What do you say? Do you want that?” I ask knowing the answer already. She will say yes because she never refuses me.

" Yes, sounds like fine but are you sure Angelina will be alright?" Rose asked again worried.

"My sister is one lucky woman to be surrounded by everyone's love." I groaned " Dear friend, today is about us. Let's celebrate and forget everything besdies it's Angelina's duty to protect and look after her kingdom so she is doing that. So, what do you want to do first?" I ask. She gave me her dazzling smile and began to tell a huge to-do list and everything was reckless but we are not human so we should not care or give a damn about it. We will sruvive every dangerous games and stunts. I looked at Zediab who nodded his head in assurance that everything is alright. Angelina is Zediab and my only sister and after what she has been through for us all these years we owe her our whole life.
