Diane's POV
“Oof!” I groaned with my face contorted into a grimace. I stubbed my toe!
I had just gotten a much-needed shower in my room.
I glared at the dresser before limping to the chair that was placed before it.
I rubbed the throbbing toe with my fingers until my ears pricked, I could hear a commotion from somewhere in the house.
Disregarding the pain in my toe, I stand up from the chair and quickly pull on some clothes before making my way out of the room.
The noise seems to come from Audrey's room, so I jog in that direction.
As soon as I arrive, I am shocked at the sight that I meet.
“What happened?” I ask with widened eyes.
“Diane!” Aubrey exclaimed, running over to me and attaching herself to my form in a hug.
