“Snooping around? Spying?” I suggested with a sneer.
I watched as Diane shifted on her feet in a manner that gave off her unease, my eyes narrowed at the gesture.
“What?” She asked, flabbergasted.
“You heard me, I am not repeating myself,” I answered with a deep frown.
“I don't know what you're trying to insinuate, but I only came to get your sister a change of clothes.”She replied with annoyance laced in her tone.
“I am not insinuating anything, it was a simple question. Besides, I have the right to ask you whatever I please, as long as you are under my territory, living in my house and sleeping under my roof.”
