“When will Christopher be back?” my father asked me at the dinner table. I was having dinner with my parents. My father called me as soon as I landed back in the city and asked me to join them tonight. I also wanted to meet him because of the situation in Michigan. So, after office, I came straight here. “He will be back on Saturday. We have a meeting to attend and I need Christopher in that meeting”, I told him but lied about why he would be here on Saturday. I never attended a race without him before and I didn’t have any intention to attend his race without him. Lucas was the one who took care of everything there for me but sometimes Chris also handled things in Lucas’s absence.
