“I am really fine, sir and I am sure that I can stay alone in my room. If you are worried then I can ask Natalie to stay with me tonight”, I tried to make Kane understand that I would be fine and could stay in my room. He immediately shook his head negatively. “I don’t want to take any risk, Mist and you are staying with me. This is final”, he spoke in an authoritative tone making me shut my mouth in defeat. We came back to the hotel very late in the night. Lucas and Kane left Christopher in his room and then Lucas went to his room. Their rooms were also on the same floor and two of our people from the head office were also staying on the same floor. That was why I didn’t want to stay with him.
