“Are you doing it or not? I can easily call mom and notify her that Aria is back” I asserted which made his jaw drop.

“You evil! Don’t worry I’ll make you pay” he grimaced as his face burned with anger, I snickered and stepped back into the room.

“You have two seconds to send me his details” I let out and I needed the call as I noticed the door of the washroom creaked open, Audrey walked out tied up in a white bathrobe. She must have freshened up, I thought as I noticed droplets of water on her body.

“Beep!” Her cell phone rang as she wanted to sit on the vanity table.

Stepping out of the washroom, I got a call from Aubrey, “hey sis” I asserted as I sat down, staring at my reflection in the mirror.

“Oh, wait! Did something happen, why do you always sound gloomy each time I called? I’d always thought that you don’t want to speak with me” she said in a calm tone. I snickered and thought how wild her mind travels.

“Come on, Aubrey. You’re just overthinking it, how can you even allow your mind to run wild?” I inquired sternly wondering what made Aubrey think that she was making me uncomfortable.

“You always sound dull, and wouldn’t speak or respond well. I thought I might be giving you a hard time” she uttered, I found her words unbelievable. I’d never imagined that my twin sister would think of me like that, moreover, she is my only sister and such a thing would never cross my mind.

“Listen, you should stop having such dirty thoughts. I’ll never get tired of speaking with you.” I said, trying to ease her worries. She let out a deep sigh and inquired what was wrong.

“It’s just business-related” I let out and added the call on speaker as I wanted to dry my hair with the hand dryer.

“What! Are you having money issues? I can support you with any amount you want” she asserted anxiously, afraid that my sales had been affected and now my stocks were going down. I quickly explained to her the hassles I had to go through because of Charlotte and how she stole one of the productions of Rey Grandeur causing me to lose a client that could have impacted the store.

“This is all your fault!” She said, “You’ve always been lenient with Charlotte, I have warned you to make her pay or she would continue pushing you to the wall” I sighed and thought, “here she goes again with the same talk” I really don’t want to have anything to do with Andrew and Charlotte.

“You’d know my response to that Aubrey. However, I have warned her and I’ll also involve the cops if she tries this again” she huffed and told me to wake up and suppress the bully.

“That’s enough! I don’t want to speak about them. I’m just pissed that I won’t be able to work with the DX Entertainment Group” I uttered with a sad face.

“What do you need that for?” She inquired, “just for some collaboration that would bring much profits” she didn’t speak much about that, we chatted for a while before I ended the call and strode to the bed.

Ryan, who was standing behind me, gazing at my tender skin, left when I was done answering Aubrey’s call.

A few moments after I had laid on the bed, my cell phone buzzed. I snapped my eyes open and connected the call.

“Hello, Miss Audrey,” Addison's excited voice echoed through my ear. I arched my brow thinking why she had called at this time with such excitement.

“I’m sorry for calling late, but I just got a call from the secretary of CEO DX Entertainment Group. They would like to reschedule our meeting” she announced, I froze and abruptly jumped off the bed. However, I decided to calm my mind, I might have mistaken what she had said. So I asked her to repeat what she had spurted as I didn’t get to hear her clearly.

“The head secretary of the DX CEO has contacted me and hopes to reschedule the date so that it would be convenient to meet with the CEO for further conversation” my cell phone fell off my hand as I was stunned. My mind can’t break down what she had said, I’d called the CEO myself and pleaded the reschedule of our meeting, why the sudden change of mind? Did something change? This thought kept running through my mind.

“Hello! Are you there?” I heard Addison's deafening voice which snapped me out of the daze. I squatted and grabbed my phone that was lying on the floor.

“Yes, quickly set the meeting for tomorrow. Lunchtime” I asserted after taking a deep breath and relaxing my mind.

“I’ll do just that” she muttered and ended the call.

“Yess!!” I screamed, threw myself on the bed, and slammed my feet multiple times on the bed happily. “This must be a sign from the heavens, and I’m going to use it well” I locked my eyes and beamed. I couldn’t sleep all night as I was elated. I can’t believe that such a change of mind could occur but I was glad it happened. Soon it was dawn, I got out of the bed and strode down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen, prepared a scrambled chicken with veggies, ate the whole food, and ambled back to my room. Ryan, snickered while staring at me with amazement, he was glad to see a smile on my face and decided to make that his daily routine. I had my bath, wore one of the best formal outfits I had, packed my hair into a bun, wore peach stilettos, and left with a peach Prada purse.
