“Get lost! I don’t want to see you again” I said sternly and turned away from him. “Forgive me, Miss Audrey, I don’t want to lose my job.” He asserted, I snatched my feet from him and walked upstairs pacing the whole office. “Charlotte is really pushing me, how could she come to my store and forcefully take the Rey Grandeur product” I let out angrily while pacing the room. I concluded to confront her after a lot of thinking, I grabbed my bag from the table and dashed out of the office. “Miss Audrey, where are you going? I’ll get my things” Addison muttered and approached me. I glanced at her and took in a deep breath, “you don’t have to follow me, I’m just stepping out for a while” I told her and strode out of the office.

Ryan groaned, already tired of what was happening since morning, “I should have stayed back in the villa, I don’t even know why I’m stocked up with her,” he mumbled, walking behind me. Shortly after I arrived at Andrew's apartment, I let out a deep breath while staring at the door. I had no idea if I’m ready to face Andrew, hopefully, he is at work. I thought to myself and raised my hand to knock but halted, I couldn't bring myself to face him after everything that happened, I hissed and turned to leave, “why are you being such a coward? If you don’t get it straight with Charlotte she keeps on messing up with you” I heard my mind say as I was about to enter the elevator. I turned back and moved towards the door, and rang the doorbell while banging at the door.

“Audrey!” Andrew muttered a bit shocked. I ignored his expression and asked where Charlotte was, “Is everything fine? Come in please” I shot him a glare and stepped into the house, “I’ll get her” he let out after he had locked the door and walked upstairs.

Moments later, he got down the stairs with Charlotte who was staring at me with a sneer.

“Finally, you showed up!” She uttered boldly as she had actually won the trump. My gaze on her darkened, I balled my fist and stormed towards her.

“Pah!” A resounding slap landed on her face, and she stumbled and fell to the ground. “I’m warning you for the last time, don’t ever step foot in my store. I’ll get you arrested if I found out that you’re playing dirty with me” I warned while pointing at her.

“Ah! How dare you lay your hands on me? Andrew, look she hits me and I’m in pain” she sobbed faking her tears, I felt disgusted by her acting and suddenly felt like throwing up.

“That was harsh Audrey, why did you hit her? I know that we've hurt you and I’ve apologized for that. But Charlotte is pregnant, the child is innocent, you can come at me if you want but don’t lay a hand on her.” He blurted out that which made me stare at him with more disgust. I swallowed hard and put on my best act as his words and behavior weren’t my business.

“You w***e! Handover the product that you’ve stolen” I moved aside and straightened my hand in front of Charlotte. She gazed at me in shock and abruptly reclaimed her stance.

“What are you speaking about? I had no idea what you were saying. You came here to hit me, now you’re blaming me for what I had no idea of. Right, I know I’ve wronged you and I’m going to apologize for that but please don’t harm my kid, I love him so much” she said attempting to make me look bad in front of Andrew. She fell on her knees while gripping my feet. I chuckled and shoved her aside, “you would need an Oscar for your acting” I let out while applauding her.

“Come on, Audrey. The child is innocent. You can come at me, I caused it all” Andrew asserted and walked towards me.

“Stop right there!” I ordered in a loud voice and looked up at his face, “what made you think that I’m here for you? I already dumped you, so I had nothing to do with so stay out of this” I mumbled and turned to Charlotte who was still on the floor. Realizing that her pitiful face and act didn’t work, she stood up from the ground, straightened her outfit, and fixed her gaze on me. “You should have evidence before blaming me, don’t come pointing fingers at me falsely” she shrugged feigning innocence. I huffed, indeed she needs an Oscar for her acting.

“I’m letting you off this time, next time you will be speaking with the cops,” I said and stepped out of the house.

“What is she speaking about if it’s not me?” Andrew inquired and sat down on the sofa.

“It’s none of your concern!” Charlotte responded and strode to the kitchen to get some freshly squeezed orange juice that was kept by Alexa.

“I’m warning you, don’t get me into an unnecessary problem” he let out while tapping his feet on the ground.

“I can’t wait to get rid of this trouble I brought to myself. It’s just a matter of time, then I would finally get back with Audrey” he smiled and thought to himself.

I released the breath I was holding as I stepped out of Andrew's building, “lunatic!” I muttered and crossed the road while stopping a cab. The cab driver took off and pulled over in front of my store, the trip was so quick that I had no idea when we arrived.

“Miss, we’re here” he let out while staring at me. I flinched as I recovered from trance, I paid for the cab and moved to my store.
