At the Astor’s villa, there was a turmoil as Asmodeus the demon king and also the father of Ryan was injured by a rival of a different clan, as the first son he was expected to reclaim the throne and wage war against their rival who is also from another clan, but he will need to seek assistance from the prime minister who would only reckon them if he agrees to marry his daughter. “Why are you being stubborn Ryan? You would have to marry Laura, this is for all the demon clan.” his mother let out sternly, Ryan scoffed tapping his feet on the ground as he was sitting on a sofa in the living room. “Look, mom, I’ve said it already that I’m not going to marry the daughter of the prime minister and that’s final” he let out with a wave of authority. Asmodeus shuddered in anger while calling him an unfilial son. he got up from the sofa with both hands in his pant pocket, “I guess I should take my leave, nobody should call me over to speak about this again” Ryan asserted and strode out of the house with his assistant shadow, who has a message for him. “What’s the matter shadow? You’ve been walking behind me for a while. I’ve said this, don’t lurk around me.” he asserted. “Well, there is a new woman in the house, she just moved in today” he let out, Ryan halted, creased his brow, and turned to shadow. “A woman! Aren’t the couples leaving?” He shrugged and notified Ryan that they sold the house to a lady who just packed in today. He huffed, the humans won’t be able to learn. I split the Astor’s mansion and moved my part to the east coast which is near the ocean. I wonder what the guts the human have to claim my villa to the extent of selling it. Well, I’m not violent like my other brothers. Who are deceitful and partly evil, I’d decide to always scare away anyone that stepped into the villa. He thought to himself and vividly raised his head staring at shadow, “we will use the same way, it won’t reach a month” Ryan asserted after thinking for a while and left with his super speed. Arriving at the villa, he glanced around the house and was bewildered at how the place had changed. He had left two weeks back when he realized that the old couples were packing out. "I wonder who the interesting human that changed the structure of my home." Ryan thought to himself while taking in the structure of the villa. “You have to see your room Ryan, that’s where she stays” shadow asserted swiftly breaking Ryan out of trance, he quickly took a long stride to his old room and was shocked. “What the f**k! How could she change my favorite color? This is hilarious” he muttered angrily. “Chill Ryan, you are not supposed to be worked out by a minor entity, she will come around like the others and leave” shadow tried to pacify him. He locked his eyes and breathed heavily, also growing impatient as he can't wait to see me. “Where is Ariel?” he abruptly inquired about his dog. “She’s in the basement” Ryan took a long look at his old room and stormed out to search for his dog, he found Ariel quickly as she had perceived his smell and rushed in the direction. “Hello baby!” he squatted and ruffled her hair, Ariel jumped on him and nibbled on his face. "Alright, stop! I know you’ve missed me” he mumbled and carried her towards the entrance door but bumped into me as I was walking through the gate. “Could she be the one shadow was speaking about?” he focused his gaze on me while checking me out. “woof! woof!” Ariel barked as she saw me making my way to the house. That was when I stopped and looked around the house in search of the barking dog. However, I couldn’t see them as they were invisible entities that can’t be seen unless they decided to show their true form, that's when they become visible. I gazed through the gate, shrugged, and walked into the house. “Did you see her? She is not even afraid of the barking dog like the rest of the people that stayed here. I have a feeling that this plot is going to fail.” Ryan sneered and shoved shadow aside and walked to the living room. Shadow was just black he could cloud light with his darkness, However, Ryan has never used him on any of the humans that have lived here. Shoving him aside disarranged him. “You’re so mean Ryan, you’re treating me bad after I’ve saved you and now I can’t even find my nose” shadow asserted with grief, he chuckled slightly and sat down on the sofa. I still couldn't sleep after forcing myself to sleep many times, I sat down, curled up to my feet, and suddenly broke out in tears, the pain my heart was going through was too heavy to bear, I stood up and went downstairs to drown myself with vodka or whiskey, that's the only way I could think of to calm my disarray heart. Walking down the stairs, I moved straight to the wine cellar, grabbed a bottle of whiskey, and shoved the content down my throat. “Why does it seem like she has been sobbing, look her eyes are swollen,” Shadow mumbled pointing towards me. “I hate you, Andrew! This would be the last time I would cry for you” I uttered beneath my tears and gulped down the content. “She looks so miserable, I believe she must have loved the guy a lot” shadow added while gawking at me. Ryan scoffed and turned to him, “I wonder how a human plight is your trouble? You’d better scare her off or be ready to head back to the Astor’s mansion” he warned. Shadow sprang up from the couch and pleaded with Ryan to spare him, sending him back to the Astor mansion would only put him in a bad phase as he would be sent on a dangerous mission by Asmodeus. “You’d better behave yourself, don’t make me change my mind” shadow nodded gratefully and pledged to put a lot of effort to drive me out of the house.
