I moved around the house searching for a perfect room that would be of my taste but ended up seeing none. The paints were so weird that most of the rooms were painted black and it had a horrific aura. I sighed and chose the bigger room. I went downstairs, took my pieces of luggage, and went upstairs. I carefully unpacked my things and set them in the closet. I rearranged the room to my taste as I called the painter who changed the color to blue and white.

“This is perfect! Now it looks more like a place where someone is living” I uttered with both hands on my waist glancing around the whole room.

“Beep!” My cell phone rang, snapping me out of my trance.

“Hello, Miss Audrey,” Addison greeted.

“Hello” I greeted back as I sat down on the bed.

“Ma’am, I wanted to know if you’re coming in today?” She inquired, I clicked my lips and cursed inwardly. I forgot that I had to go to work today and it’s past the time to go to work, but now that I’ve moved into my new villa and it’s also close to my store, I would be able to meet up. I breathed heavily and informed her that I would be there shortly to check on the new materials that were designed. I pulled off my clothes and lunged into the washroom. I quickly had my bath, wore a casual outfit, and left the house. “I think it’s time I went back home to get my car, I can’t spend money on a cab when I have cars at my disposal,” I thought to myself but soon remembered that I would be detained by my parents, I’ll only go back home when my brand has been known to the whole, atlas mom and dad would commend me and support my dream. I nodded in response to my thoughts and relaxed in the cab. I arrived at my office and met the ones that were assisting in the making of outfits that have my brand name. They have also chosen from the alternative art that I created for my brand which would act as the logo.

“It’s very good, I’d recommend you make three hundred pieces for a start” I asserted as this was a new product, different from the other ones that I’ve made.

“Yes, ma’am” Edward bowed curtly and left. The new brand has a logo that represents Rey Grandeur, the other brand had made way for it as it would be easily recognized when it hits the market. I sighed deeply and sat down on the seat.

“Ma’am, your coffee” Addison walked in and placed the cup of coffee on the table. “What’s in my schedule today?”

“You have no schedule today except for checking the new brand before taking it out for sale” she responded and dismissed herself. I relaxed my back on the seat and locked my eyes. Slowly the scene from yesterday clicked on my mind and I recalled that I was betrayed and I was no longer in a relationship with Andrew, I picked up my cell phone and dialed Aubrey’s number.

“You’re right Aubrey, I should’ve believed you” I asserted immediately after the call was connected, sobbing heavily.

“Hey! Chill and speak slowly. What happened?” She inquired with a worried tone.

“Andrew cheated on me, he got Charlotte pregnant” I let out with a heavy heart. “What! What do you mean?” I explained briefly everything that had occurred yesterday. She was bewildered that she shouted.

“I knew that something must be going on between those two. Charlotte, she has the guts to play smart on you? Don’t worry I know how to deal with her” she threatened.

“Don’t do anything Aubrey, I’m fine. We can’t stoop to their level” she scoffed, “you better keep your mouth shut, why can’t you understand all these? You're Wellington, and we are not easily bullied. Look, you suppose to be the bully” she scolded and continued speaking angrily.

“Will you chill? You’re an A-list actress and I don’t want a smear on you. The netizen would use this as a chance to slander you. So don’t be impulsive” I warned, she calmed down but kept on cursing while clenching her fist.

“Where is the slut, she’s still at your apartment?” She inquired, I rolled my eyes at my protective elder sister, she will always be sure that I’m safe.

“I moved out, I bought a villa close to my working place” I announced feeling proud that I actually listened to Addison and got a new place.

“Omg, you’re full of surprise Audrey, you bought a new villa after getting a heartbreak, that’s exciting”

“Can you be serious for once? I bought the villa before the incident” I explained, feeling distorted by the continuous screaming.

“Have you spoken to mom and dad? They’re worried you know”

“I will speak with them tonight”

“My mind is settled now. I know that you’re no longer staying with that snitch. We will catch up later, I have got a flight to catch." The call ended with a beep sound. I heaved a sigh of relief and placed my phone on the table. I gazed out of the glass window to find out that it was time to get off work. I packed up my things, locked the store, and left.

Stepping into my villa I heard a dog barking and halted. I glanced around wondering if I had neighbors that had a dog but literally the villas in the district are miles away from each other. I shrugged, ignored the barking dog, and moved inside the house. I walked straight to my room, dropped my handbag, showered, and went to bed.
