It has been 2 days since Lacey had surgery. Nothing has changed. Her body is not healing itself. The swelling is not going down, and her back is still slowly bleeding. It is like both she and her wolf are giving up. I take her hand in mine. I can barely feel the sparks, our bond is so weak.
