The Heat and Rut period for werewolves was a special time for them. It usually only started after they found their mate. Apparently, it was the Moon Goddess’s way of encouraging the relationship between mates. It was her way of showing how truly compatible a pairing was. s*x was a good way to connect with one’s significant other. At some point, some tribes would have s*x in very comfortable atmospheres in order to promote the people’s relationship with the Moon Goddess and themselves. It was a sort of orgy that was called Dionysus. It was a ritual where all the tribe members would sleep with each other in an open space. Later on, the act was shunned by the Moon Goddess. It was a misunderstanding on the werewolves’ part. Mates and the heat period was a time for mates to be truly connected.
