Zaira’s POV
The sound of the birds chirping woke me up from my sleep. My ear perked up as I heard the serenading sounds of the birds on my window. It was a sound I was used to since moving to Alpha King Leo’s home. There was a tree right next to my room which was on the second floor. The tree was always occupied by birds in the morning. It was nice to hear at times.
But this morning it wasn’t.
The sound of the birds seemed to irritate me for some reason. I frowned. I shuffled around on my bed for a moment before I moaned slightly. I opened my eyes a little bit. The bright light from outside hit my eyes, causing me to close them back almost immediately. I rubbed my eyes for a moment then finally opened them.
The first thing I saw was a toned chest. I blinked. The chest was still there.
