“Did you guys say something to my mother?” Zaira asked her mates while she made a move on the chess board.
“What do you mean?” Kane calmly replied as he made the next move with his black horse. With just one move, another one of Zaira’s chess pieces was gone.
Zaira didn’t even react to it and just casually played another move. She didn’t care if she lost. She was bad at chess and this was just to pass the time. Besides, what shame would she have after losing to three other people? At least Kane was going easy on her. Damon had won her in just five moves. It was a fast defeat.
