Damon was about to go downstairs, but he stopped at the end of the stairs. His brow furrowed when he saw a girl come with his debtor. "Sir?" Hilgers rebuked. He looked down, too, then widened his eyes suddenly. “That’s her!” "Come on!" Damon was even more eager to go downstairs immediately. Hilgers also ran down, following Damon, who was acting strangely. Approximately two minutes ago, Damon wanted to leave because he did not want to meet his debtor. Damon strolled with his eyes, staring at the girl he had seen earlier. She ignored his coming initially. It made Damon hummed. "What are you doing, Mrs. Lewis?" Damon stopped with his sharp glare at Sandra. Sandra quickly put on her most cheerful smile to acquire Damon’s attention. “Sir, I need to introduce you to my niece. Seriously, you would never regret it.” Lavender’s eyes widened when Sandra introduced her and caught Damon’s attention. It was like she lost her breath once again. It was unfortunate for Lavender because the man with her aunt’s debt was her CEO. "Let me introduce to you. That is my beautiful niece, Lavender Ravens.” Lavender gasped and instantly put on a pleading, innocent expression toward her aunt. Sandra glared at her. Ethan could not do anything but stand beside Lavender to watch her. Meanwhile, Damon curved a smirk at Lavender. He also gave out his hand to her. "Nice to meet you, Miss Ravens. It turns out that you are the one who’s going to have a dinner date with me," Damon said with his cold, sinister stare at her. Lavender paused her breath nervously. Her eyes rolled, seeking an acceptable reason to elude. "Oh, do you know each other?" Sandra interrupts while glancing at Lavender. She grinned widely, trying to hide the anxiousness. “Yes, she is working in Hummer Enterprise. I thought you knew it.” Sandra oddly chuckled, then nodded nervously. She did not know if she had to be happy or scared because the information was new, but she was supposed to acknowledge it. "Yes, yes, I just remember that. It is a sign, isn’t it?" Sandra put her fake sweet expression to show her sincerity. Damon did not care about Sandra. His sharp gaze only at Lavender who looked so nervous. Ethan then acted like a brother he should. He came closer to Lavender, then stretched out his hand to Damon bravely. “Mr. Hummer, I’m Lavender’s brother. My name is Ethan Ravens.” Damon turned to Ethan, and his stony stare unchanged. His eyes were getting lower to Ethan’s stretched hand at him. He did lopsided want to shake hands with him. It left Ethan with an odd chuckle. Sandra glared at Ethan who acted out of her control. She never asked Ethan to talk. “Ethan, what are you doing?” Sandra scolded him by holding her gritted tone. “I just want to see my sister’s next boyfriend. It turns out that he’s an arrogant man.” Lavender and Sandra were enlarging their eyes, hearing Ethan say something that could make Damon angry. They glanced at Ethan, who also put his straight, haughty face against Damon. Damon put an evil smirk on Ethan, who drew his hand back. “I’m not your sister’s next boyfriend. I’m her fiancé. She’s going to marry me.” Ethan and Lavender were shocked. Sandra also breathed shockingly, then grinned oddly. “Does it mean that you agree to take the wedding plan?” Sandra ensured that she heard. “Yes, but not about your debt’s terms, Mrs. Lewis. I will only reduce your debt by 25 %. But if your niece rejects it. You will get 25 % additional for your debt.” Sandra gasped shockingly while Lavender now froze. Ethan could not stand himself anymore. He came forward to oppose Damon. “Excuse me, Mr. Hummer. My sister is not for sale. I oppose this wedding plan based on the ridiculous debt. If you have a problem with my aunt, Sandra, you can marry her instead!” Ethan bravely argued. “What? Are you crazy?” Sandra shrieked. “You are the one who is insane, Aunty!” Ethan also gave the same reply. Damon quickly held Ethan’s arm to prevent him from leaving. His eyes turned bright golden because he was getting mad. Damon also has the power to control people's minds. Unfortunately, Ethan did not bulge. "Don’t you forget, she’s working for me!” Damon growled. “I don’t care. She can find another job!” Ethan bravely shoved his hand out of Damon and then dragged his sister to get out of the room. Sandra was dumbfounded and confused. Quickly, some guards were standing to block Ethan and Lavender. Sandra also paces her walk to Ethan to warn him. While Damon did nothing. "What are you doing? Lavy, he is your future husband. Show some respect!" Sandra gritted annoying Lavender who kept muted. She looked so scared and could not say anything. Sandra grabbed Lavender’s wrist to pull her from Ethan. “Aunty!” Ethan persisted. Sandra glared to him and then put the usual warning; she always did to him. “Do not ruin my plan, or I will separate you from her. Remember, I have your full custody, both of you. You owe me your life.” Meanwhile, Damon stood straight, unmoved. He was watching and listening to their conversation. He slightly frowned whilst understanding it. “Alpha?” Hilgers interrupted. Damon quickly raised his right hand. “Let them.” Sandra then dragged Lavender back to Damon. She looked nervous and apologized for the misunderstanding. “Can we talk more privately, please? My nephew can wait outside.” Sandra proposed a second chance. Damon rolled his eyes to Lavender. He could see that Lavender was scared. When he glanced back at Ethan, he could see him mad. “Fine, let’s talk over dinner.” Lavender raised her head to see Damon, who was also looking at her before he turned. Sandra then pulled Lavender to follow Damon to the fancy dinner table in the dining room. Ethan was still at his place in front of the door and watched by the guard. He still could see Damon, who half turned to smirk at him. Damon whispered to Hilgers, who then walked up to Ethan. “Please, come with us to the table, Mr. Ravens. You should be with your sister.” Hilgers slightly sneered at him with his haughty expression. Ethan did not want to leave Lavender. He walked to the table and passed Hilgers haughty. When he sat next to Lavender, he quickly took her hand and pulled her closer to whisper something. “Before we start the dinner, I want you to sign the agreement about your debt p*****t, Mrs. Lewis.” Damon turned to Sandra while slightly glancing at Lavender. Sandra smiled oddly, then nodded. “I want 50 %!” she spoke boldly. Damon slightly raised his eyebrows, then sinisterly chuckled. Damon said, “Only if she marries me by the end of this month.” Lavender clenched her jaw and glanced at her brother. Ethan has thrown his face to the right side, disgustingly mad. Now, Lavender felt like a commodity for selling. “No, I reject you, Sir!” Lavender suddenly spoke.
