Chapter 9

EVANS POV

I honestly wasn't expecting to see that Omega in the restaurant. You must be wondering why I didn't attend school earlier. Well it was because I had to go with my Dad to attend an important alpha meeting. I followed him so I could be learn some important things that might help me. After the meeting, I left my Dad to hangout with friends.

I was together with Smith and Nate when Juliet came and joined us when she saw us. Well we were friends while we were growing up. Then we thought we were mates so now we are only friends although I couldn't help but notice she wants more from me.

Since I returned I noticed Smith and Nate didn't talk to her whenever we were together. They all pretend like she wasn't right in front of them. I think something happened between them in my absence.

Smith was the one who brought the idea of going to a restaurant he got fond of because of how delicious their food was so I agreed to go there and have a try.

We had to wait a little as Nate was calling his mate to join us. We waited for almost 15 minutes before she came.

“Good evening everyone. So sorry for keeping you guys waiting had to quickly round up what I was doing.” Nate's mate said.

“Its fine we can still eat something because it's not yet their closing time.” Smith said to her smiling.

“No it's not fine. Next time be fast will you. I hate to wait for people.” Juliet said blowing her long artificial fingernail.

“Well last we checked no one asked you to join us you decided on your own to come with us so better shut your mouth” Smith said looking so angry.

It's rare for Smith to lose his s**t so for him to look this angry, I'm very sure something definitely happened between these three.

Juliet didn't say a word to him. Maybe she was scared or just decided to ignore him.

“Alright since Angel is here, Smith lead the way will you? I'm so hungry.” I said.

We all began to walk to the restaurant. Smith was walking in front with Nate and angel as they were talking and laughing together while Juliet and I followed them behind.

She tried to hold hands with me but for some reason, I just didn't want to touch her so I removed my hand. She tried again and I still avoided her again.

“Evans what's wrong? Why are you refusing to touch me?” she asked looking so sad.

“Sorry juju but not today. I don't feel like touching anyone and I don't want anyone to touch me.” I said to her.

“Have you found your mate already? Because I think that's the reason you don't want to touch me.” she said.

I let out a laugh.

“Thats an absurd thing to think about. I haven't found her yet okay.” I said lying so smoothly.

But come to think of it, was it the real reason why I'm behaving this way. Is it because of that Omega I'm feeling this way. It better not be because she doesn't worth it.

“We are here.” Smith said bringing me out from my thoughts.

I looked around and truth be told, the place doesn't look so bad. Infact it looks comfy and nice to eat and have fun with friends.

“Alright let's match in.” I said.

I entered first with Juliet behind me.

The moment I opened the door, the door bell rang.

I walked in and looked up when I saw the face of the person I least expected to see.

“Good eveninnnnn” she started as she stopped when she saw me. I could tell from her face that she also wasn't expecting to see. The feeling is mutual.

“Can't I just stay a single day without seeing your ugly face you Omega?” I said with an irritated voice. I was getting annoyed already. Just when I wanted to have a nice and lovely day without coming in contact with her she decided to ruin it with her presence.

I felt Juliet stand close to me and lock her hands together with mine. This time I didn't push her because I wanted to show the Omega girl.

“So you work here also?” Juliet said to her.

I watched as her head turned to the direction of where Juliet stood. I noticed her eyes move to Juliet and I hands before looking at Juliet's face.

I was so glad when I saw her smile fade. That was exactly the reaction I wanted to get from her.

“Yes I do. Let me direct you to your table.” she finally said trying to act calm but I knew better.

She lead us to an empty table. When we all sat down, she gave us a menu to order. She kept stood in front of us waiting for us to decided what we wanted to have.

After placing our orders, she left to get our food. My eyes followed her everywhere she went. I couldn't remove my eyes from looking at her. Even when Juliet tried to get my attention, I didn't turn to give it to her as my eyes were fixed on this Omega girl.

She finally brought our food which we ordered. After serving everyone, she left.

I wanted to see her again so I did the most childish thing ever. I put a strand of Juliet's hair when she didn't notice as was eating her food. Then I put the strand under the cake I wanted to bite.

I pretended to be upset as I shouted for the Omega to come.

I watched as she rushed to me looking so confused to why I sent for her.

“How may I help you sir?” she politely asked

“Is this what you people serve in this place?” I shouted acting like I was indeed very angry.

She looked at me with confusion in her eyes. I was secretly loving it so much.

“Sorry sir but I don't understand.” she said sounding so polite.

“Oh you will understand very well. What is this I see in my piece of cake, a strand of hair in my cake and from the color I could tell very well that it belongs to you. How could you be so careless to allowing your hair enter the food I'm going to eat.” I said angrily.

“Excuse me sir with all due respect that's not my hair.” she said.

“Oh so now you're calling me a liar is that it?” I asked standing up trying to not show that it was actually me.

“I think she just did. Can you imagine the b***h has no respect or what so ever.” Juliet said backing me up.

The Omega girl was trying to talk when I did something that I myself wasn't proud of. I poured my cake on her face.

I could tell that she felt so humiliated and embarrassed but I just couldn't do anything. Juliet kept on taking pictures and laughing at her.

I watched as she stood in front of me covered in cake not moving an inch.

As she was still standing there, someone came and covered her face with a jacket.

I looked up to see a man who looks like he was almost my father's age standing behind her acting as a shield.

“Young man although you are the alpha to be, I don't appreciate such character here. My worker did nothing wrong. You shouldn't treat her like that. Besides she only works as a waitress here and not as a cook so there is no way her hair will be found in any dish. Also that doesn't look like the color of her hair. Her hair color is light brown and the strand you were holding was black just like your date's hair.” the man said to me.

‘How is it that the man got to find out that the hair wasn't the Omega. How am I going to get pass this. ’

I thought

“What are you saying? That I put my hair in his cake? How absurd?” I hear Juliet say.

“You said it yourself not me.” the man with a bored voice.

“Do you know who you are talking to like that? I can end you right here and right now.” I said not wanting to loose to that Omega.

I watched quietly as he picked his phone and dialed a number. I didn't know who he was trying to call not until I heard the voice which I could remember even if I was deep asleep I know who was talking when I hear the voice.

“Hey Drew my man. How are you doing?”

“I'm good Bryan. Well I called to inform you that your son is in my restaurant right now. Wow his really big unlike the last time I saw him.”

Wait a second, so this man is actually my father's friend. How do I abort this mission. Ahh this is so embarrassing.

“Your young man is indeed big.” I heard my dad said even laughing. For my father to laugh that alone made me believe that they were very close friends.

“I will call you later I need to attend to my customers.” the man said before hanging up.

“So let's talk again how you plan to end me right here and right now boy.” he said looking at me with a serious look on his face.

There was no way I was able to look him in the eye. I was so humiliated. I caused so much problems for myself. What if he tells my dad about my behavior,l? My dad would kill me.

My mind was still far when I heard Smith say.

“We need to go. Just look at the time everyone it's really late.”

He sure knew when to step in. I actually wanted to be far away from here.

“We will be on our way now. Sorry for the disturbance.” Nate said before dragging me away.

I have never felt so humiliated in my entire life. I didn't utter a word to my friends even when they dropped me at home. I went straight to my bedroom and locked myself inside in embarrassment.

I remembered who was the cause of all this.

I will surely crush that Omega girl with my bare hands.
